Just wondered if any of you are that way inclined!!?

I'm 34 (on sunday) and ride a mini engined trike, I could do with a buddy who understands the biking way of life especially the trials and tribulations of trying to diet during rally (burger van) season!
:dizzy:  :dizzy:

Mystic... what's a mini engined trike? I don't THINK I have one, but I could be wrong...

11-28-2002, 07:07 PM
It's a trike (3wheels) austin mini engine at the rear, bike front end, a bit like a bike with stabilisers! :D

See if this works......

11-28-2002, 07:32 PM
NOPE!! But it looks like fun!!!

(I LOVE that bat!!)

11-28-2002, 08:49 PM
Hiya mystic! No bike yet, but I'm planning on a Harley for my 40th birthday. :D

11-28-2002, 09:21 PM
Oh my gosh... that is so cool! I thought you meant one of those thingys that you drive on the sidewalk when you can't walk very well. (instead of a wheelchair) With the basket on the front and the big battery in the back.

11-29-2002, 03:40 AM
Thanks all! Yep it is the best thing I ever got, It has a grin factor of 180!!
Kids wave at you wheelchair users give you a big grin and a thumbs up as you go by and I have even been challenged to a race by an old guy in one of the disabled "trikes" Ellis is talking about, the only disadvantage is you have to allow for at least an extra hour on any journey to make up the time that people take up chatting to you about it!
Cheap and cheerful, but it's my pride and joy, now I need to lose the extra weight so it doesn't draw so much attention to my fat *** LOL

11-29-2002, 07:46 AM
Wow, that sounds so cool. What a neat looking bike. Hope you stay and visit with us anyway even though we do not have a bike.
Hey, Wildfire
I too would love to have a Harley for my 40th. Big and loud!
Maybe we can get a two for one deal. LOL

11-30-2002, 04:00 PM
Oh my gosh... you're in Scotland! I didn't even notice. Ummm, I don't suppose you live in a castle, do you? If so, Ruth and I will be right over. :D

11-30-2002, 05:54 PM
Erm, no, unfortunatley not IN a castle, I do, however, live less than a mile away from Edinburgh Castle, in fact youy can see it out my window, to be honest we take the castles a bit for granted here, LOL, it's always been here so you tend not to notice it most days.........

Happy Birthday, MysticVix! Hope you have a faboooo day! :gift: :hat: :cb: :dancer: :cloud9: :queen:

Virginia, just think...we could do road trips together! :D I have to sign up for lessons first though...get a bike license, all that stuff. But I am seriously planning to get a Harley when I turn 40. Okay, so that's 7 years from now, but I like to plan ahead.

12-01-2002, 10:30 AM
Happy Birthday again, Vix! :hat: :queen:

Edinburgh right outside your window, huh? Well, that's close enough for me!
Let's see, if I look out my attic window I can almost see parliament.
I'm interested in a membership at the Carnegie Club. Could ya pick up one for me, hon?

Wildfire... you and Virginia on bikes... imagine it... ;)

12-01-2002, 06:56 PM

My ex-boyfriend was born in Stirling Scotland, his father was from Palermo Sicily, in Italy, and his Mother was from Scotland. She is one of the loveliest people I have ever met. She was one of the first people who told me my exotic looks were beautiful. I love her for that. I wish I could have stayed in touch, and her accent was so wonderful! Love the Scottish accent!

12-04-2002, 02:53 PM
Head out on the highway, lookin for adventure.......... Born to be WIld! That's us Wildfire! I would love to own one, however, my dream is just that likely. Right now I am afraid I could not even afford a model Harley! Oh well, I can still dream.

12-04-2002, 06:43 PM
Hmmmm. I'm really a 'bike' girl... The traditional type. Out my window I see; a park, lots of pine trees. Snow too.
