100 lb. Club - Office Weight Loss Challenge (Feel Free to Join in)

Hey Everyone,

So its after the holidays and a bunch of people at the office where I work decided to hold a "Fit Club" type challenge. Eagar for a challenge I joined in and now I figure I would post here to give myself that extra modivational push. I did this exact same challenge last year with poor results and I want to kick butt this year!!

We weigh in every friday morning starting tomorrow the 21st and the challenge goes until April 15, 2010 (which happens to be my 26th Birthday!).

I am aiming to lose 2 lbs a week which gives me a goal of around 24 pounds.

Anyone wanting to join in is more than welcome, the more the merrier

I'll join you! I actually have a thing coming up April 8th that I'm wanting to look as hot as possible for so this would be a nice countdown to that. And the more challenges/people I'm accountable to, the better!

I would love to join.
Back in 2006 I actually won an office weight loss contest. i ended winning $450 towards new clothes. Sad news is I have since gained it all back and then some. I will tell you that I used 3FC back in 2006 as a huge support system and I was very sucessful. I guess this what brings me back again. I restarted this journey again on 1-4-11. This is the time that I will suceed.

Yay! I finally get in on a challenge early! I always find them weeks after they start! April 18th is my birthday, so I'd like to buy a new dress and have hubby take me out to dinner! Since tomorrow is weigh in day, I'm wishing I would have had my water like I was suppose to today...eek!

I'll definitely join!! April 15th is the end of my last term of college, so it will be right around graduation festivities and final parties! I want to look as GREAT as possible, especially since no one here has seen me under 250 pounds!

I want to lose 4 - 5 pounds a week, which is about 50 total... eeek!

Good Morning Ladies!!!

This challenge is going to be a blast! 12 weeks to get fit!

Well today is official weigh in day! Everyone hop on the nearest scale they can find ;)

I weighed in this morning at 259.4 but had them take off .4 pounds because I am wearing ALOT of clothes this morning because it is so cold here ....brrrrrr

Oh and thanks Stephanie for catching the Date mistake, I copied and pasted this from last years thread and didnt even catch that mistake... oops :o So if anyone wants to edit the dates like I did go ahead but just so we all know 10=11.

How did everyone do this morning? Everyone who hasn't joined in yet come on aboard!!

I am doing Weight Watcher (was BAD this week :rollpin:). My weigh in's for them is Monday nights, but I weight myself everyday just to get an idea of where I am.

Just one lb down, a bit of a disappointment because I was on plan all week. I am crossing my fingers to be in the 160's next week, but the weekend is tricky as I'm visiting my family. Mum always cooks my favorites when I visit. Just two more lbs and I'm at my lowest adult weight again.

Good morning, and TGIF! Essa ~ 0.2 pounds down is 0.2 pounds down, so good job!! I lost 0.8 since last Friday. I started TOM yesterday, so I'm hoping I may be holding on to some water weight that will drop within a few days. Hope everyone has a great day! :)

A loss this week! Yay, because I didn't deserve it, there have been lots and lots of yummy things at work, which is detrimental to the weight loss efforts! I'm really hoping to get to 168 next week, I'll be so happy to leave the 170's behind me, I've been in them for months!

Well this was my first gain week of the challenge :( But luckily it was only 0.8 lbs and after the week I had I will take it.

I wont have an official weigh in next week as I will be on vacation but will try and hunt down a scale at the hotel and report!

I hope everyone has a great Friday ~ I gained 0.8 from PMS water retention, so I'm hoping for a loss in a few days. We'll see what happens! I'm just going to stay positive and keep doing what I'm doing. TGIF! :carrot:

I gained weight again, I have completely fallen off the wagon the last few days. I was so close to 168, but it's going in the wrong direction. I really ope I can get back on track, I'd love, love, love to reach a normal BMI (163 lbs). I also made an appointment with a surgeon to talk about my oodles of stomach skin after being mistaken for being pregnant again, I just can't wear pants, it pushes all the skin up and gives me that rounded belly look.

Emme, you are doing so well! You're such a consistant loser, and with TOM in the way this week, I'm sure your weight loss next week will be great!

I lost 2 lbs this week, a complete surprise, I had friends over and had a cheat meal, making me go up to 172. I was about to amputate something to lose weight, but then it just fell off. Great week!

I can't believe I've lost 10 lbs during the challenge already, that is a serious number! Goal is coming closer and closer!

Hey, Quillie!! It is awesome that you lost 2 pounds!! Good for you!!

I'm doing good with the Biggest Loser at work, but I'm not high on the leaderboard ~ there is someone who has already lost 10% of her body weight, and I don't think I'm going to catch up to her at all. I don't feel bad, though. I did it to keep myself motivated and not really for the competition.

I lost .6 this week, so that is good enough. I kept seeing 183 throughout the week, but it wasn't meant to be on my WI day. :( Oh well...hopefully next Friday I can log it in as official!

Hey Ladies!!!

Sorry its been so long since I posted, I've been traveling like mad lately and working like a fool :)

Last week (March 11) I weighed in at 250.2, so lost a little (Which was amazing concidering I had just come back from a busniess trip to Florida with client dinners everynight and more red meat than I have had in my life)

This past friday I was a few lbs up (254.4) but was guilty of celebrating St. Pats Day late into thursday night and anyone who eats irish food knows how much salt is used. So i am hoping to be down for this weeks weigh in.

Quillie - Look at you! You are doing amazing!! 10 lbs is a feat!!

Well I stayed the same this morning, I am hoping to start a raw food jumpstart this week to get me back on track! i have 36 days til I am on a boat for a week in nothing but bathing suits and sundresses, i need a kick in the butt to actually start caring again.

Good news: I started working out at a gym and have been diligent about going every day!

Bad News: I am up 4 lbs this morning, but I have been on plan all week. I assume the gain is the result of three days of body pump and making my non-active body life weights for an hour three times this week! Plus i drank lots of water this morning at class before weighin (another mistake).

I am not worried though, I am actually thinking of laying off the scale for the month of April and going off measurements, we will see how it goes!

If you did BodyPump (I'm assuming it's Les Mills BP?), then you are probably holding onto a lot of water, especially if you did it three times this week already. You need to give your body a break!

Hello! I just took a 15 min break and walked around our office building with a co-worker. It's such a beautiful day outside! We decided to walk at least once a day. It's so easy to get stuck behind the desk.

I'm at 165 even with TOM! Not expected that at all after being up yesterday and having a salty meal last night! I think I'll just miss out on my goal of 163 & no longer being overweight. I'm so sad it's the last week, I'll miss this. I don't think I've ever remembered to update a challenge so often!
