Default Cravings once per month?

What do you all do to control the insane cravings you get during PMS? I am there, and can't think about anything other than pizza and french fries! It's so horrible - all I want to do is eat. I'm miserable today because thoughts of food have consumed my every waking moment. Every activity is distracted by thoughts of food. :-(

This is going to be hard, hard, hard to get through this time every single month without tripping myself up. Any advice?!

Oh, the lovely PMS...

When I get cravings, I try to drink a lot of water and do something other than sit that way I can keep my mind of off it. Easier said than done sometimes, but I just have to try reeeeeeally, reeeeeeally hard.

I don't really get cravings because I allow myself one cheat meal per week. On weeks where I don't really want it, I don't take it...but when I do...I eat...whatever I want...for one meal only. It helps my psych and my fat loss endeavors!

Thanks for the support! I made it through yesterday with no weight gain, but no loss either. That's fine! Because I went way over my calories for the day. I didn't eat anything bad, though, just too much all around. I think it's over, though - the extreme out-of-body maniacal cravings usually only last for a day for me.

Now onto my first weekend of the new eating! :-)
