Default Olive Oil..hmm

Forgive me if this is a dumb question Lol but I realized last night after eating a huge salad that I've only been counting the balsamic in my homemade salad dressing. The extra virgin olive oil I use is 120calories a tbsp! So my 2-300 calorie salad that ive been eating for a month has turned into probably a 4-500 calorie salad! Ahh..So how do you guys count calories for homemade salad dressing? Is one tbsp a 1/2 tsp vinegar 1/2 tsp oil?

A Tablespoon is 3 teaspoons. I'd run your recipe through a calorie counter like Fitday and get the calorie count by dividing by the number of servings.

One tbsp is 3 tsp. So another half tsp of each vinegar and oil.

I second Ruth. Depending on what else you put in it, it could change. Best to run the whole recipe thru a calorie counting analyzer and find out what a tablespoon is that way.
