Default nutritional scale

friend of mine was telling me about these last night so I ran out and bought one today. You punch in a code and put the item on the scale and it tells you precisely how many calories are in that apple and exactly what the nutritional contact is. It's so cool.

I got one of these but I only use it to weigh items as I find it a pain to look for the code every time.

I purchased a very expensive Salter scale that looks smart on my kitchen counter top, it too has that feature but it's a pain in the neck scrolling through all the foods. I only use it for weighing and then put everything into Fitday, so easy! But then I'm a very impatient person, if it works for you cherry pie, super great. Weighing and finding the caloric count is so important and keeps everyone honest. Good luck on your journey!

I've been looking stuff up in a book that was way more complicated than looking through this little booklet. And I'm amazed at the difference in what the book said an apple caloric value was and what an actual apple is.

Use a highlighter to highlight the foods you eat most often and that should make looking for the codes easier.

Can you add your own foods to these scales? Would be nifty if you could!

I saw one of those scales where you could add your own foods.

This is the one I want to get.
