Default Want to start - what's the best way?

I believe I've settled on getting started with Medifast - I will be starting right after Christmas (am having hernia surgery on 12/22) - and am trying to figure out the best way to do it? There is a TSFL coach in my area (at a chiropractic clinic). My questions:
1. If you go through a TSFL - is it more expensive? Do you go for weekly weigh-ins typically - this is what I think might be helpful for me - the extra accountability.
2. If you go through a TSFL coach - do you buy your food there, or do you still order online?
3. If you go purely online - what's the best way - directly through the medifast site, or are there other ways?

I appreciate everyone's help - I looked through old threads and wasn't finding exactly what I was looking for...

Sarah

P.S. Yikes - that ticker is old! I'm at about 180 now - want to get to 140...

I don't know if things are different in other parts of the country, but the health coaches here are basically independent salespeople for Medifast, but they provide tons of support and help and are awesome! I love mine! You don't have to pay them, Medifast pays them a portion of what their clients spend. It is not more expensive. In fact, you get a 5% discount and free shipping (the discount also increases over time!). You order online.

The online Medifast support boards are FREE and great! They also have registered dieticians to answer questions, and there is a behavior specialist and an exercise specialist as well. I think it is a wonderful support system.
