I am so excited to have hit this milestone. Last December I was within a pound or two, doing great, and then got pregnant in the very beginning of January and could never break 48-49 pounds lost. It was so hard being that close.
Finally, after almost a year of trying to maintain/not gain excessively with a pregnancy and then seven weeks of nursing a newborn and battling ravenous nursing-induced hunger, I have finally begun moving back down the scale from 215 postpartum, to 207.8 today!
That's finally, finally 50 pounds lost, and about halfway to my first real goal weight I'd be happy with. My beginning weight was 257, my highest weight of all time was about 20 pounds more than that, and now here I am on the cusp of Onderland and SO ready to continue down the scale.
