This site has always been one of my favorites. Sometimes the WW boards get pretty slow though. I like posting here because we can discuss actual points and stuff. I like the official WW boards too but you aren't "allowed" to post pointsplus values because its open to the public.
So now with this new plan in place, I hope this place stays pretty busy for a while! One of the biggest helps for me in my journey is talking, talking, talking to others. I can talk about WW and weight loss, "dieting" and food related things all day. The meetings are great, but I am someone who needs added, more personal support throughout the week.

well don't say that too loud, lol.. per the forum rules we aren't suppose to post points here either but I don't think we have a moderator right now so once one is in place I have a feeling the pt talk will slow way down, lol.. but yes I LOVE these boards too, I've been with 3fc since 2001 or something crazy like that, lol..

see, i guess i don't get why we can't talk points and stuff. for someone who doesn't have the materials...they would have to eat the same handful of foods everyday to 'cheat' and not pay for anything. the only thing i can see is if someone posts the points for something and they aren't accurate and someone will not be as successful as they could be because instead of using their calculator or materials they are trusting someone else to give them the accurate points and they could be wrong. no big deal though-if we can't talk points then fine, i can talk dieting and weight watchers all day too....to much dismay of my hubby LOL he's doing ww too-he doesn't really have a choice because of the meals i prepare and snacks i bring into our house, but he has lost 10lbs since he started a little over a month ago and he's looking awesome and he's pleased.

Either way, I still like it here better anyway, and I still hope the boards stay active.

You can discuss points here. What you can't post is formulas and such. If you want to discuss points for foods, feel free but don't post extensive lists, etc.

I guess now that we don't have the formula and you have to use the calculator or the book to look them up, it shouldn't be a problem!
