I went to my weigh in this morning and have lot a total of 80lbs exactly!!
I really thought there were going to be people camping outside the doors waiting but to my surprise I was the first to arrive. From what I was told, everyone stormed in there the day the new plan started and it was complete chaos! I'm glad I waited because my leader took her time and we had a great 2 hour meeting, she went through everything from top to bottom and answered everyone's questions.
I can honestly say I'm really excited about starting the new plan, change is most definately a good thing as scary as it may be sometimes. I truly think we are going to see some awesome results and the most important aspect about the revised plan is we will never have to deprive ourselves or be hungry because we have quite a few extra points to work with. My leader, who by the way is awesome told us we really need to take advantage of the zero point fruit and to make sure we're getting 3-5 servings in daily. A couple people piped up and of course had some negativity about eating that much fruit but my leader always makes this statement and I quote - "No one EVER got fat by eating too many fruits and vegetables." She did stress the fact that eating 10 bananas would probably be a bad idea and that fruit needs to be eaten in moderation like any other food because it could very well make you gain. I definately think I will be passing up the 100 calorie snack packs for fruit from now on!

I will rejoin WW on Monday , this new plan is just what i need to get going, I have not idea how I am going to lose weight at 29 point , if before it was like 18 , so i am dying to see.

I completely agree with your leaders quote. I find myself going much more for the fruits and veggies now that they are free. I can hardly wait until next summer with the great fruit we get then.....watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe....mmmmmmm.
congrats on the 80 lbs!!! that is amazing! Your meeting sounded wonderful, two hours!!! man I wish our's would have gone longer but our leader had to get to another place for another meeting so she kinda rushed us through it.. not that she did a bad job or anything but she said she'd make up for it at our next meeting because she was sure after a week on the program we'd each have a list of questions, lol did she explain why 29 pts is the minimum and we never go lower? I'm still curious on that.
Congrats! I went and got all the new stuff last night. Will be reading it over very carefully tonight, and hitting the grocery store tomorrow. I'd like to get some groceries sooner, but the dang job thing really cuts into my day!
