Default The New eTools site is up and running!!!

That makes this techie geek soooooooo happy!!! It automatically recalculated the points of what I had saved in there. If I manually added it, I will have to fix it but that's no biggy.

Now just sitting here tapping my finger (that's AP right?!!) waiting for the iPhone app to be ready.

Yes, we do get a bunch more points however, food is COSTING more i.e. vitatops are now 3 pts the arnold sandwhich thins are now three points as well.

Also, I noticed that the 100 calorie packs which are totally void of any good nutrition are three points. I'd much rather have a vitatop than a 100 cal pack.....

fitbyforty - clear your cache for that site if you can't get in.

We do get more points but some foods cost more. Not everything. I ate out for breakfast Sunday and I was surprised that it was 18 points on new program and 18.5 on the old. Bacon, scrambled eggs didn't change. Fruit is zero now. Only the small cinnamon roll went up.

I tracked Sunday under the old program and used 27 points (23 daily and 4 weekly). Under the new program it worked out to 39 so I used only 1 of my weekly for the day. So it just depends on what you eat I think.

I am confused by this. I was at 28 points before and when I logged in today it gave me 29. So I gained one point and all the values have doubled? WTH?

Yes, but now your fruit is free and some of the higher protien choices will go down a bit. They are getting us to eat less carbs and more fruit, vegtables and lean protien. You will probably see better results and feel better. I think this will also help keep hunger at bay much better as we can't load up on the refined 1pt goodies anymore.

I weigh more than you and was at 23 points before (but I'm female and only 5'4") and now have 29 points which is the minimum.

But for the foods I eat none of the point values have doubled. Most are the same or 1 point more. There was one thing I ate today that would have been 5 points before but is 7 points now. The biggest point change is in stuff that is high in carbs.

The minimum before was 18 right? I guess I just don't understand how I went from 28 which obviously wasn't close to minimum and up only one to 29 which is the minimum now right? I get that we have more points for weekly but... I guess I am just confused! I hope it all works out. I was used to my one pointers and now many of them are two or even 3.

Gerly

You are only 1" taller than me and weigh less than I do but you were at 28 before and I was at 23 (If I had been at your weight I would have been getting 22). I am assuming that you had more points than me before because you don't have a sedentary lifestyle as that was taken into consideration before in points and people with active lifestyles had more points. I don't think that is part of the calculation any more so that could be why yours didn't go up more.
