I have too much to do in the mornings so I pick something that I can stick in my bag and eat in the car or once I get to work. For the last 6 months it's been a ZonePerfect Bar. It has lots of protein so it keeps me going. I don't drink coffee. During the week I drink a liter of water with it. (On the weekends I have tea).

Water and a WW Smoothie - all protein, low on carbs.

I typically eat either a banana or a FF yogurt mixed with 1/2 C. of Fiber One cereal. I've found if I eat carbs in the morning, I burn out quickly & want to eat something right away again. With protein & fiber, I stay full much, much longer.

I used to never eat breakfast before I started losing weight. I would eat in the breakroom at work on my first break and eat vending machine donuts or a huge bagel with two packets of cream cheese!!
Now I eat Morningstar Farms veggie sausage. I heat them up, then add shredded cheese on top and heat again. There is hardly any carbs in this so if I eat this at 7 am I am not actually hungry until noon!! It may sound high in calories but I allow myself 2000 a day and still lose weight.

how many calories are the sausages? do they really fill you up? I love turkey bacon!! - and it does a pretty good job of filling me up.
do you use the low fat cheese or the real stuff? :cheese:

1/2 banana 1 pt
2 slices low cal/low carb toast 1 pt
1 T peanut butter 2 pt
low cal/high calcium hot chocolate 0 points .. love that stuff

After my walk and shower, I got dressed and looked around and I have 15 minutes to spare! Whoa.
So, I hauled out the Kashi Go Lean Crunch (now my boyfriend's favorite cereal) and had a bowl and a glass of milk.

Yeah, Dana, I know! I ate a TON of fruit all day yesterday. Typically, I get my 5 servings of fruits & vegetables mainly from veggies with maybe only 1 serving of fruit a day. But not yesterday! :D
Today, I had 4 oz. of unsweetened apple sauce for 1 point.

Breakfast is for you fancy people that wake up more than half an hour before you have to be at work.
I keep the Morningstar Farms "sausages" in the freezer here for just such occasions, also a loaf of Natural Ovens Hunger Filler bread for toast.
Dana, the sausages are EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend them, they are 80 or 90 calories a piece.
Today so far I've had 2 cups of green tea w/mint. I am saving calories for a sub @ Cousins for lunch. :ink:
