Ok, I feel really dumb asking this question, but I really need some guidance. Yesterday I had a binge and ended up eating 2,700 calories (1,400 of which was consumed in the past 24 hours.) My usual daily limit is 1,600. I am back on plan today and have only eaten 630 calories and am completely full. I know that is a dangerously low amount of calories to eat in one day, but since I had so many calories yesterday, am I okay to stop here?
Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do. I figure if I don't feel hungry, why force it? Plus, it's not like my body follows any kind of man-made calendar. It has gotten plenty of calories lately.
One day at a very low calorie amount isn't going to have any harmful effects. I agree, if you aren't hungry, and it's not an every day thing, why force yourself to eat more. The danger of very low calories comes into play when it's a long-term, daily thing, where you are not getting enough food for energy and nutrients.
The first month I was starting to watch my calorie intake I was only getting 300-800 per day. I discovered it was so low once I started writing everything down and adding things up. I wouldnt suggest that of course because it can be dangerous, but I dont think one day will hurt.

One day doesn't matter. There are days when you are put on a complete fast by doctors if you think about it, if you have surgery you eat nothing the day before and usually nothing the day after either, the risks come in if it's long-term. So long as you continue to drink your water, that's important, your body hoards up nutrients to use on days it doesn't get them, so long as you replenish that store later this week you'll be fine.
Thanks for the responses everyone. Like I said, I feel kinda dumb for asking that question. I guess I just really want this to work so I'm making sure I do everything right. I get nervous sometimes.
