I am so proud of you! I have read your posts with great interest. I have the same goals as you and we are the same height. I am currently training to run the Dallas Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon at the end of March. I ran my first 5k last weekend and there's no stopping me now. :)

You look beautiful and have so very much to be proud of with your journey. I can't begin to express how happy I feel inside for you.

You are totally inspiring. I have just started running again after a knee injury and a 30 lbs. weight gain. It is pretty amazing that in one year you went from not being a runner at all to running a half marathon!

CONGRATS! What a great feeling that must have been to cross that finish line! :carrot: And you look great, too!

That is SO inspirational! My goal right now is not as lofty -- it's to run a 5K someday. But, I need to learn how to breathe when I run. I'm okay with the actual running, but I don't know how to breathe correctly, so my lungs burn like 10 seconds in.

Amazing! Thank you for the inspiration!

Great job!! You truly are inspirational! I have found that I like running after these six months of it. I'm nowhere near where you are in distance or weight, but someday I hope to be!

You look fantastic :) Good job on the half marathon, I did the same to celebrate my loss and managed a pretty good time.

It is so amazing to be able to go ahead and do something that gruelling after being overweight. I can recall a time where climbing a flight of stairs would have me puffed out.

The body is a remarkable piece of engineering and can bounce back, not matter what the odds are stacked against it.

Congratulations to you :)
