Um, BLECH!!!!! I know I have to take it - b/c of my stomach issues, I can't eat a lot of bulk right now (ie veggies), so I need the nutrients. But, EW! Any tips besides holding my nose and chugging? I chose the mint b/c it seemed less offensive than berry flavored vegetables. I'm staring at the other half of the drink right now and it is daring me to finish.

YUKKY. Well, I chose the veggie-fruit combo and add either some fiberfil or strawberry gelatin to take a little of the edge off, but I am pretty sure holding your nose and chugging is about the best bet!

I haven't ever taken it, but one lady told me she mixes it with less water so she doesn't have to drink so much...it's more like taking a shot she said...then follows it with an hns. Hope that helps.

I've mixed it with a wildberry or a lemonade HNS, ice and water. Put it in a blender bottle, shake it in between chugs. But it is nasty but it's just the grittiness then, and not the taste. I've only had the strawberry one.

I actually like it now that I mix it with the pink lemonade hns. Also, I love the fruit & veggie with the peach mango hns. I put it in a shaker with about 10 -12 oz of water and a bunch of ice. Seems the colder it is the better it tastes. I really look forward to them now. Hated them when I drank them without the hns, nasty taste.

I've found that the Grape HNS does the best job of masking the beet taste of the super veggie/fruit. But I agree - chugging works best.

It is a little on the nasty side isn't it, at my center they recomended preparing it the day before and let it sit in the fridge in a covered container than way it isn't so gritty. I have to mix with an HNS or I just can't take it I choose berry, mint sounds worse to me.

I take it right after I rinsed my mouth out with scope lol it helps mask the flavor and all you taste is mint.

What is the super veggie powder supposed to do?

Apparently, it's like 9-10 servings of veggies, complete with all the trace minerals from the good-for-you veggies we never eat like beets. I was having stomach problems and couldn't eat bulky foods, so I was supplementing my lower vegetable eating with the powder.

Great ideas! I bought the stuff because I wasn't a big veggie eater, and after trying my first glass, I decided I'd better suck it up and eat my veggies. I'll try mixing it with an HNS and see if gets better.

How often can you replace veggies with the powder per day?

It's actually not intended to replace the veggies. It's supposed to supplement them. But, I was having major stomach issues due to stress for a few weeks and couldn't eat them at all, so the powder was better than nothing. All better now, so I am NOT drinking that nasty stuff unless I start feeling run down.
