Today I am grateful for:
- Beverlyjoy who consistently posts and keeps me thinking
- Halloween is over and the goodies are gone
- new day, new week, new month
- I finished my quilt and started cutting for a new one
- Jazz acted like a perfect angel in Church yesterday
- the houseplants are now indoors in the plant hospital
- frozen mango and yogurt with ground flax - a new discovery
* I got through Halloween without eating any candy. I thought that it would be out of sight when I got up but was disappointed to see the bowl of leftovers on the kitchen table this morning. I left a note for DH and DSs that if it was still there when I get home tonight, it will go in the garbage. I feel sure that it will be gone.
* That I live in a land of plenty even though that plenty made plenty of me.
* Comfortable home
* Family, friends, indoor plumbing, 3FC, Cell phones and Internet
Since I have been absent for a few days I went to the October thread to read what has been happening. Reading this thread is also inspirational. I saw where someone CLOSED the thread...which is great for me...because many months I have had to have someone come and lead me to the right month!
Today I am grateful for:
Beverlyjoy that starts this thread every month

... Jesus is my savior and I don't have to live in fear or shame anymore
... someone invented FB and 3FC... love it!
One big gratitude to chat about today. My life seems to have become overwhelming. This morning I had a mini melt down in bed before I got up. I was crying and praying and asking for help and I didn't know who to call or what to do. After I got up I went about my day and had decided to do what was in front of me and I was making plans. As I poured my bowl of cereal the phone rang. It was Monica, a gal that works for me, and she wanted to know if I had anything for her to do on the "time clock" ... they didn't need her at work but she needed the $$. Do I need her help? Thank you dear Lord for sending her my way and for the luxury of being able to pay her and keep her on the time clock. I get her for 2 hours and I am ever so thankful and grateful!!
My 2 boys, the best kids ever.
My wonderful chef husband who made me an awesome low cal, thin crust, veggie pizza for dinner last night.
The 6 lbs I lost last week.
Having found 3fc.
- little miracles - like Cathydoe's yesterday
- Claire and Rob for sorting out all the Fair schoolwork for return
- Natalie, my assistant curator, who is back from her honeymoon
- sweet doggage
- Heather and her boys who are coming for a "family" dinner on Saturday
- my warm winter jacket and gloves
I am so glad more and more people post at the gratitude thread! Daily gratitudes have part of my life for 12 years. It really makes a difference, I think.
- I made it through yesterday with a healthy day...kinda squeeked through, but I made it.
- library levy passed last night
- our new furnace is keeping us toasty
- having enough
- my family, my friends, 3fc friends, music, internet, FB, cell phone
