100 lb. Club - Where will you be 6 Months from Now?

10-18-2010, 06:05 PM
Where willl you be 6 Months from Now? I hope to be down 50 LBS. CW: 245.8. April 27th will be my 2 Year Anniversary since joining 3FC's. I'm disappointed I haven't reached my goal weight. But, All I can do is restart and do a better job with planning and exercising. I had gotten down to 207 but since put on some weight. I lost a small amount recently. But I need to want to lose weight more than I want to overeat. How have you overcome the desire to overeat?

hopefully in my new house! with a workout room! in a healthy happy body. able to eat healthy without obsessing about food or over eating. freedom. possibly with a new job....teaching my kids by example.

a whole new life!

10-18-2010, 06:17 PM
I would like to be able to fit into some of the clothes in my closet in 6 months. I was able to wear them 10 months ago. I would like to lose 30lbs in the 6 months. So CW 264 GW 234

10-18-2010, 06:49 PM
I'll be 40-60 lbs lighter, spending a week with some high school friends of mine that I haven't seen in too many years to mention!!

10-18-2010, 07:02 PM
6 months from now I will be halfway (or more) to my goal. Hopefully I'll be somewhere between 200 - 190.

10-18-2010, 07:02 PM
Will have re-lost the 50lbs (and hopefully more) I gained back and taking myself on a nice shopping spree for new spring summer clothes.:carrot:

10-18-2010, 07:16 PM
How have you overcome the desire to overeat?

Eating lots of healthy foods and getting the proper balance of macronutrients has really curbed the urge to overeat. My body feels fueled and energized and is much less demanding.

Six months from now will be about my one year weight loss anniversary and I'm hoping to be somewhere in the 180s. That's so shocking it's hard to even admit. I think the last time I weighed 180-something was maybe in junior high (a long time ago!).

10-18-2010, 07:33 PM
6 months from now:

I want to be about 30-50lbs lighter.

I want to have paid off all of my outstanding debt and maybe even pay off my car.

I want to move back east from California. :)

10-18-2010, 07:40 PM
In 6 months, I should be just past my first goals, and considering going for the big one!

10-18-2010, 07:47 PM
Six months from now I hope to be at or very near my goal weight. Gosh, that would be fabulous. Gotta keep on plugging away...

i overcome overeating by: being accountable counting days i have eaten in my limits. if i binge, i have to start over at 1, and post on this forum about it.

eat healthy foods, lots of veggies.

education: once i learned how much fat/cal/carbs a certain food has it's not so appealing, or not worth it at all.

consistent support on forums and exercise.

paying attention to and telling people about nsv's!

when i'm getting stressed, instead of eating i read/post on these forums.

10-18-2010, 07:51 PM
i hope to be about 30 lbs from my goal weight!

Pacifica Bee
10-18-2010, 08:03 PM
Hmmm 6 months from now, I hope to be down at least 1 more size in clothes and hopefully it will be 2 sizes, and jogging instead of walking for my daily exercise. What an exciting thought!

10-18-2010, 08:51 PM
6 months from now I want to be in Onederland!

10-18-2010, 08:53 PM
I hope that in 6 months (mid-April) I'll have lost enough weight and feel energetic enough to do the kind of gardening I used to be able to do before I got so damned fat. Of course, I was a bit younger then and my back was in better shape, but still....

10-18-2010, 09:11 PM
Hopefully 50-60 pounds thinner. And running instead of barely jogging.

10-18-2010, 09:13 PM
6 months from now I want to be in Onederland!

This is my goal too!!

Pretty aggressive for me, I'm so not a fast loser. But maybe if I think of it this way, it will also be easier to stay on track through the holidays :D

10-18-2010, 09:17 PM
In 6 months I hope to be down 60 pounds at the least and 2 months after that (June) I hope to be to 199

10-18-2010, 09:19 PM
well below 200 and jogging.

and liking it

10-18-2010, 09:21 PM
I usually count in terms of the end of the month (i.e. "at the end of October...") so I'm going to answer like this:

By the end of April I hope to be down 50 pounds, putting me around 225. I'm in my best friend's wedding on April 30, and I would love to look back on those photos and just see his and his soon-to-be husband's smiling faces, not be focusing on that fat maid of honour. I think it's feasible, since that puts me at about 8 pounds a month. I'd like to say I'll be a regular gym member, but I'll be shuffling back and forth between three cities for the next 6 months, so I'm not sure how reasonable that is. We'll see!

10-18-2010, 09:27 PM
I have lost almost 30 lbs in the last year... so in 6 months, I should be 15 lbs lighter. I know... I am losing weight at a snails pace - but 15 lbs lighter would put me at 190. Being 190 would. Be. Awesome.

In Six Months, I hope to be able to jog/run all 3.1 miles in a 5k... maybe even be able to do it in my Vibram FiveFinger.

In Six Months, I hope to be thinking seriously about what month to go off my birth control. (hoping to get to 180 - 170 b/f trying for baby #2)

In Six Months, I will have paid off my Home Depot Credit Card.

In Six Months, my son WILL be potty trained. (maybe?)

10-18-2010, 09:32 PM
In 6 months I want to be in shape to climb Mt. Fuji!

Also my mom is visiting me in Japan in late March and I hope to weigh less than she does by then.

10-19-2010, 12:41 AM
Hope to be at my goal weight, or at least in the low 140's.

10-19-2010, 12:50 AM
Hopefully 50-60 pounds thinner and getting closer to my goal that I have set for August 30, 2011.

10-19-2010, 02:06 AM
I will be maintaining at my goal weight or lower, and I will be finishing training for a half-marathon.:o It's a long shot but I hope I can do it.

10-19-2010, 03:16 AM
In 6 months I will be in Onederland and able to RUN a 10k. I've already promised to run in one with a friend in May 2011, so training starts now!

10-19-2010, 05:01 AM
In 6 months...

I'd like to be a size 10.
I'd like to increase my muscle mass and tighten up key areas (back, arms, thighs)
I'd like to drop another 20-30 pounds
I'd like to be far enough into my therapy to see some mental results shining through :)

10-19-2010, 07:32 AM
I'm not sure what the scale will say in 6 months, but I know for sure I will be working my plan, will have increased my exercise, and will be feeling better and thinner! :carrot:

10-19-2010, 10:06 AM
Six months from now, April 19th, I will be at goal. :D I have no doubt! And I will be past a wedding that has me all uptight. And I will be debt free...again.

10-19-2010, 10:22 AM
In six months I will be two months into maintaining a size 10 and looking more like my sisters.

katy trail
10-19-2010, 10:22 AM
ooo that's practically my b-day! I didn't realize. i will be maintaining, and starting my first garden.
there's alot of exciting unknowns for me. hopefully we'll be moving closer to my inlaws. i still don't know what state i'll be living in lol!

oh and my 1 yr anniversary is march 7. my birthday is April 18.

10-19-2010, 11:41 AM
Let's see... 6 months from now brings us to mid-April, which for me means:
* Down to 183 lbs (or a weight loss of about 65 lbs since I started)
* 4 months of Aquafit (I'm starting in January)
* 9 months cancer-free!!!! :cp::cp::cp:
* 3.5 months back at work (plan is to return in January)* house decluttered
* end of winter, so garden plan done
etc. etc. etc. (I've been home on sick leave since Jan 2010, so I have lots and lots of plans!) :D

10-19-2010, 11:43 AM
I will have lost 30lbs!! People are like, "WHAT?! Look at that girl. She has it going on."

I will nice arms!

10-19-2010, 12:05 PM
April 19th, I PLAN to be 50 lbs lighter (137) and a size 12.
I will be getting ready for a reward cruise in May.
I will be doing 4 miles 6x/week on my treadmill.

10-19-2010, 12:40 PM
Two places I'd love to be: 65 more lbs down and jogging again.

Still counting calories and exercising 4+ times per week.

I'll also be gearing up for ODS's 3rd birthday party so I will have lost enough weight and increased my fitness level to the point that I can keep up with a bunch of 3 year olds, and be a part of the fun instead of just watching it.

10-19-2010, 12:46 PM

10-19-2010, 12:49 PM
Hmm in 6 months I hope I will have restarted my weight loss and hit the 100 lb mark. I want to figure out how to NOT make food the main focus of my life. I want to learn to eat to live instead of living to eat.

10-19-2010, 12:51 PM
On April 19th I plan to be at least 40 lbs lighter!!!
That means around 165 lbs! Wow, that sounds great!!!
Good, I'm going for a brisk walk now so that plan can realize.

10-19-2010, 01:05 PM
Hopefully 30-60 lbs lighter (totally prefer 60 lbs but my goal is 1-2 lbs per week). I would also like to run a 5k next spring, so somewhere with the ability to that or at least run most of it. Running is really hard for me. So I'm not there yet. Every time I try I keep hurting myself, so I figure I'd like to lose another 20 lbs before I start couch to 5k and stick with the ellipiticals for now.

10-19-2010, 02:31 PM
6 Months from now, 19 April 2011, is 26 weeks. So, I PLAN to be down 52 pounds from today's mid-week weigh-in, which would make me 176 pounds. For me that's a size 14/16, though that may change since I'm doing more strength training and high impact cardio than ever before. That will put me 36-41 pounds from my goal, 3 days before the 17th anniversary of our first date. {yeah we're really that lame} It would be awesome to go on our date in a size 14, compared to the size 28/30W I wore this year.

10-19-2010, 04:22 PM
i plan to be maintaining between 140-145 and a couple months into building up/toning up my body.

10-19-2010, 05:23 PM
In 6mos Im hoping to

1) be in onederland!
2) Ive only been losing about 7lbs per month so hopefully 35lbs lighter
3) nearing goal!

10-19-2010, 05:38 PM
On April 18th we'll be celebrating DD's 3rd birthday, and I VOW I will weigh less than I did the day I gave birth to her. It's only 7 freakin' pounds, come on!!

On a maybe note, I'm hoping to be down in the 190's or high 180's by then. Fingers crossed!

10-19-2010, 05:40 PM
Hmm in 6 months I hope I will have restarted my weight loss and hit the 100 lb mark. I want to figure out how to NOT make food the main focus of my life. I want to learn to eat to live instead of living to eat.

Me too :smug:

10-19-2010, 06:01 PM
I loved reading everybody's thread, in six months I will be walking in Onderland, and running 5k's like nobody's business and preparing for my foray into pole dancing (ooh la la) and fitting into size 12 jeans (which I haven't worn since junior high) and being able to cook healthily. Umm...and preparing for my first swimsuit season (no two piece yet, but I won't be embarrased to show something!)

10-19-2010, 07:34 PM
A little harder for me to set goals as I don't know how much I weigh.

10 minutes on my elliptical on the highest resistance. I can do 1.5 minutes right now.

10 inches lost from my measurements.

Keeping on track even though in 6 months I will be entering into the workforce for the first time in a major way.

Able to do a back bend!

20 minutes of Zumba.

I am about to start the Bar (law school not drinking). I know my goals seems a little low.

10-19-2010, 09:47 PM
6 months from now will be April, and my birthday woot, and I'm taking a trip to Australia to see friends can't wait :D I'm hoping to be down another 10 pounds by then probably yay can't wait

10-19-2010, 10:24 PM
I will weigh 24 pounds less, putting me at 155 pounds.

06-25-2011, 05:33 PM

I can to the 10 minutes on the elliptical at the 6/8 resistance level.

The other goals are still unachieved.

06-25-2011, 10:34 PM
6 months fro now I want to be doing the same thing I am doing now. Trying to be more healthy and onmywaydown to onderland...... However much I lose I will be that much happier and healthier

06-25-2011, 10:44 PM
Six months from now I hope to be 30 lbs. lighter, since I tend to lose about 5 lbs. a month, so that would put me at 164 lbs! I also plan to be running 1 5K a month by then. But even if I weigh what I weigh today I hope to be healthy and exercising 4+ times a week.

06-26-2011, 12:05 AM

Best wishes for continued success to all!! Great thread...thanx!!!

Six months from now, I'd love to be in Onederland. It's doable, but I usually don't lose as quickly as I have been since starting the specific plan. I'd love to keep up the same pace of loss, but I'm not sure that will happen.

So that's more of a wish - the part that I can and WILL control is that I will be continuing to stick like glue to my plan.

btw, 6 months from today is Christmas, so easy to remember as a landmark!!

06-26-2011, 07:54 AM
:wreath: :clause: :tree:
Christmas is just 6 months from now. That gives me a lot of time to bring down my weight more.
I lose about 1 pound per week, so I should lose about 25 pounds by then.
I should be down one more dress size. I have some pretty clothes I can wear this Holiday Season.

:candy::hohoho: :candy::hohoho: :candy::hohoho: :candy::hohoho: :candy::hohoho: :candy::hohoho:

In six months I will be 160 lbs and feeling sexy on our family vacation to Florida. This is always a huge mile marker in my life (the annual vacation) and I use a lot of that time for reflection. I will feel great. I will also be actively dating, which is kind of huge since I have not dated in 7 years.

06-26-2011, 08:45 AM
I can't control how fast my body loses weight, even when I'm on my best weight watchers behavior, but 6 months from now I'd like to be firmly in Onederland. For once I will not be embarrassed and obsessing about my weight during holiday/family gatherings. It will be the thinnest anyone has seen me in years and I am looking forward to it.

06-26-2011, 10:52 AM
I will be under 200 lbs! I will be healthy and active. I will begin training to run 5 km at the Rebecca Run (a charity run for SMA, a disease my daughter died from at birth in 2006) I will be running around playing with my almost 4 year old son :) Oh and I will enjoy Christmas treats without guilt or uncontrollable binges!

06-26-2011, 03:25 PM
Hm. I can't even remember what my post on this thread means! ulp.

6 months from now I will be 3 weeks away from my return trip to Palestine. My aim is to be 35lbs lighter than now, shooting for another 7 more by the trip.

06-26-2011, 06:16 PM
6mos from now I will weigh what I weighed when I met my husband. I will walk into his families Xmas party, wearing a cute dress and see their faces (they are hugely judgemental of fat people). I will be able to run around at the beach after my daughter chasing birds (NZer here so it will be summer), and chances are my son will be walking too by then so toddling around with him :) I will be training for a 10km open water ocean swim and thinking about sharks -LOL-

I love this thread, its given me the warm fuzzies!

06-26-2011, 07:59 PM
Six months from now I am ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE about where I'll be. I live in NW PA on Lake Erie. I will be shoveling snow in my driveway! I will put money on it!

Oh - did you mean in relation to weight? LOL. In 6 months I hope to be a month past my goal. If that doesn't happen, I'll be closer and still working hard to accomplish my 100 pound loss.

06-26-2011, 11:39 PM
I love this thread. ♥ Six months from now (December 2011)... I will be at my goal weight, which means I will be lower than I ever remember (around 145ish in high school). I will have completed the Insanity (work out) program. I will be exercising daily in some form. I will have attended all of the doctor appointments I have been putting off. I will be spending a month with my boyfriend who is coming to visit me all the way from England over the Christmas Holidays. ♥ I will have made up my mind about what I want to do next in school (already have an M.S. in Psychology as of winter 2010) and will have applied to schools across the pond for next fall (2012) as part of the big move out there... I will have saved up at least $10,000. I will still be actively posting on this board at least three times a week for continued inspiration, support, and fun. :) And, I will start something in an area that interests me for a hobby such as painting, belly dancing, burlesque, or something fun. And my boyfriend and I will be in the middle of another series to read. :D Oh gosh :o it's public now-- I guess I have to stick to it. ;)

06-27-2011, 01:37 AM
In six months, I'd also like to be in Onederland. I remember being 191 lbs in middle school. :o It would be fabulous to start another new year with a decreasing waistline rather than an increasing one. Because my weight loss has been slow, I'm not sure that I can accomplish 38 lbs in six months, but it's better to aim high and try my best.

I haven't yet learned how to stop overeating. I'm overeating far less often, not overeating in the large amounts I used to, and I've replaced unhealthy foods for healthy ones, but I need to work on appetite control. I think it would help to eat more snacks and drink more water, but we tend to run out of snacks in this house. I tend to gobble up the chocolate, and my dad and sister gobble up everything else.

06-27-2011, 03:54 AM
6 months from now, i will be wishing for these lovely summer days... lonely for the sunshine, and hopefully at least in a winter onederland! i really want to be at 191 then, which is techinically overweight for me- no longer obese for the first time in 7.5 years :)

06-27-2011, 04:10 AM
Still whittling away! Lol, it doesn't seem that likely I'll reach my end goal in 6 months/ end year, and assigning weight/date goal depresses me, so I'll be content by still staying on plan.

06-27-2011, 08:54 AM
Six months from now I plan to be at my goal weight. I can do that if I really want it.

06-29-2011, 03:27 PM
I will be well into the 100's, I hope 180 to 190 by then. I also hope my muffin top shrinks a bunch.

06-29-2011, 03:30 PM
hopefully out of the 300s and on my way too the 100s

06-30-2011, 09:22 PM
I started this thread last year. But decided to put a new six month goal. I would like to be 174 overweight. So I will have to lose 53 lbs by December 31st. Right now I would even be happy with Onderland by the end of the year. Good Luck, Everyone!

07-01-2011, 02:32 AM
"How have you overcome the desire to eat?" At this point, my desire to live a better longer life is stronger than my desire to pig out. I don't starve myself and still eat the things I like. I have a sweety every day and even have a burger here and there. I just fit it within my calories. So I kind of eat the same, just way, way less. If you've seen my other posts you'll also know that I was considering weight loss surgery. Going through the process has scared me to death. I would rather work on this my own, then have them cut out half of my stomach. Yikes!

I would like to be under 200 in 6 months!

07-01-2011, 08:34 AM
I hope to be at least 48lbs less so somewhere in the 220s!

07-01-2011, 08:45 AM
Six months from now (or well before) I will be wearing a size 8/10 and loving maintenance! :)

07-01-2011, 09:31 AM
6 months from now I will be almost 1/2 way into my school year long internship. I will have learned how to balance work/school/family/ and my healthy life style. I will be jogging atleast 1 time a week outside...brrrr! I will also be using my elyptical, to keep the cals burning when I can not be out jogging.
I will weigh somewhere around 145! It will be the first time in YEARS that a new year will start out with me being a healthy weight.

07-01-2011, 11:17 AM
Hmm... maybe in a size 8 or 10? I have no clue where I'll be weight-wise because I tend to be a slow loser. Ideally I'd also like to be TTCing for #2!!!

07-01-2011, 03:10 PM
I just went back and looked at what I said originally and for the first time in my life, I was right! I wasn't very specific, but I've passed my goal and am actively trying NOT to lose anymore but stay within my desired range. I'm in a size 4-6 and about 125. And very happy.

In six months, I'd like to say the same.

My main health goals are to continue to make progress in eating well, being active, and balancing the various parts of my life well.

I am going to work towards losing 20% of my starting weight by January 1, which would put me at 222lbs. I am also very hopeful that I will be able to wear my size 20 jeans and the nice work blouses I bought last year but still can't quite get into.

I am hoping to be at a place where I feel more complete and in control of my life. I don't have a number in mind because I have been so heavy for so long that I don't know what loosing weight will be like. I can not even imagine being under 200 lbs.

07-04-2011, 05:01 PM
hopefully, 6 mo from now i'll be at my goal weight! i'd also be totally stoked if i could run like, half a marathon.

motivation, go!!

07-04-2011, 05:29 PM
I'd love to be 50 pounds lighter six months from now, and at least two sizes smaller. That would be wonderful.
