So all year I have been bike commuting and doing a lot of biking in general. I'm not very skilled, but have been working on endurance. One of my goals was to learn how to jump a curb.
Yesterday my neighbor and I went out and he taught me how to do it! I was terrified, but I actually jumped a curb! Several times!
Now I just have to see if I can do it in real life on the city streets!
What a good idea! I'll have to keep an eye on him to see what other tricks he can teach me. He's a martial artist, so maybe there's something there I can learn.
I love being around people who know how to do things that I don't, and are willing to teach me.
That's awesome! I've been toying with the idea of riding a bike to work, but I'm way too scared to ride on the streets. And I always here the drivers here complain about cyclists, and the cyclists complain about the drivers. I feel as if a secret war is brewing and I don't want to be in the middle of it, haha.
