Default Petechiae - little red blood blisters??

I think I am getting these from working out and losing weight. According to Wikipedia, they're basically capillaries that have burst.

I noticed them popping up on my breasts and tummy, but didn't pay too much attention to them until I saw one after my work out tonight that was darker and slightly bigger than the rest. They don't hurt, but it kind of freaked me out.

Have any of you guys gotten these??

I get them any time I use something that causes my blood to thin. Too much caffeine, steroids (like the kind doctors prescribe) and diet pills have done it to me, which is why I don't take any form of diet pill and I have to be careful with caffeine. I also tend to get them if I don't eat enough, or I'm not getting enough vitamins. I notice I also bruise easier when they appear. Are you scratching the areas? I get them if I scratch my legs through clothing, especially on my thighs.

My doctors checked me for clotting disorders because of them. Everything came out fine. They can be an indicator of a few different issues that need checking out. To be on the safe side, you should talk to your doctor.

I agree with talking to your doctor if it continues and/or gets worse.
