Hi all!
I've been a lurker on 3FC for a few years now, off and on. I love this site, and I've come here for comfort so many times!
I'm 22 years old from rural Australia, a few hours out of Melbourne. I've been overweight nearly all of my life, and I struggle with binge and emotional eating. I spent my childhood and teen years fat, uncomfortable, and self-conscious. I don't want to spend my twenties and the rest of my life the same way!
I've lost weight before, but the problem was that I didn't put the same amount of effort into the mental and emotional side of the process as I did into the practical. THIS time around I'm actually as excited about learning to eat normally and with discipline as I am about looking good in clothes.
I'm seriously ready to move on with my life and be slim... I can't wait!
