Hey everyone! :cp: I just made the veggie lasagne from the Week 9 recipe card! It is delicious! I used fat-free cheese instead of the lowfat cheese it called for, so maybe it was a little lower in points. Also, I used a lot of broccoli and mushrooms. Has anyone else tried this?:?:
This is the only recipe I've made fromt hose little cards. Have any of you made anythign that was extremely good or extremely terrible from these cards? I don't often get to cook, so I wanna make sure that when I do, I'm pleased with the recipe! :)
Thanks!

Yes, the lasagna is good. I also liked the Eggplant Parmesan, surprisingly low in points. The sesame green beans are great, too.

Do you know what week the Eggplant Parmesan recipe is given? I don't remember seeing that one, and it sounds great!

I live in Canada and have NEVER found fat free Rictotta cheese. I have found the light version, but have never made the recipe because I never knew what the accurate count would be... If I used ricotta LIGHT instead of ff how many points do you think it would be per serving?
Thank you!

I also made the veggie lasagna this week. I make it about every 3 weeks & also use broccoli, mushrooms and some sweet red pepper. Another recipe from the cards I like is the "Cheesey Chicken Casserole" make with low fat cream soup. Recipe calls for cream of mushroom, but for the kids I have been using 1 can of cream of chicken & 1 can of cream of celery. This recipe is a big hit with my teenage daughter & her friends.
Also the angel food/pineapple cake is great.
Hope this helps - bye for now.

Angie~If you get me the nutritional info on the low-fat ricotta cheese, I'll try to get the point tally for ya!
Bandit~ I've only made the lasagna, but I'll try the others you mentioned. Thanks for suggesting the other recipes!
