Good morning and Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to this weekend and getting some much needed rest. I hope I'm not coming down with anything because I've been so tired lately. If I don't feel better by Monday I'm going to the doctor.
I wish you all a very happy and successful IP weekend. Congratulations to everyone for their weight losses and NSV victories!!!! Hey Mel awesome job with the 6.8 lb loss! Keep up the great work.
Happy Friday, everyone!!!!!
.
Congrats on a great week of losses. Let's keep up the great work.
I have my family in town this weekend visiting...and Grandma's house will be fully stocked the entire time with all the best of St. Louis goodies (Toasted Raviolis, Gooey Butter cake, etc.) I'll be enjoying daily desserts of chocolate soy puffs and chocolate crepe muffins so I'm not jealous. I can do this. I'm so close to goal...I can almost taste phase 2

Have a great day
in4life, Congrats on an awesome first 2 weeks. Isn't it amazing how great you feel so quickly?
Last week was a HORRIBLE week for me - I've got so many different things going on at once and I fell back into my old habit of eating pasta when I got stressed. So for the first time, I had gained at my weigh/measure! Ugh! It was only 0.6 of a pound, but still!!!
So, I'm back on track this week - my scales this morning said 192.2 - I didn't even see 193, just went on by it! I feel a lot better and am ready to knock off those last 67 pounds!
Great job in4life! So motivating isn't it?! The big C is really getting me down... however, the scale is not doing the same! My moring weight shows up 1/2 pound.. I know, I know.. I should not be weighing everyday.. but I am addicted to it
Otherwise, things are well.. I have a question tho.. are we allowed brussel sprouts?
I think I am getting the scale to move again after basically just maintaining. I'm back to having one restricted item a day rather than just doing all non-restricted.
Tomorrow morning I'm having "breakfast" with a friend that I haven't seen in about 5 years when I was much fatter. I've been thinking about my options for eating but I'm not to worried about it. Her family is on their way back to London, Canada from a funeral for her mother in law in Colorado, so I'm just looking forward to having a time to chat with her and give her a hug!
Hi IPers,
After a disappointing WI last week, tonight I lost 6.8 lbs !! I am so excited. That makes 20 lbs in 5 weeks. I have also completed the Halloween challenge of losing 20lbs. What a thrill to meet this first mini goal.
Thanks for all the support found here!!
WOW Mel that is wonderful. I too did 4.5 so made up for last week 1 lb for me. Keep it up .
Barbara Ann, my coach told me that sometimes when you fall off protocol a bit then get back to it, it kind of kick starts your pancreas again and you see a bigger weight loss again. It's likely not good to make it a regular practice, but at least it eases the guilt of cheating a little! I can't wait to get down to 'onederland' with you.
I've decided that one of my 'to do's' this weekend is to read Dr Chanh's. Maybe then I won't need to ask as many questions here.
Just back from WI #15 and I'm down 2lbs for a total of 35!
...and yes, I lowered my goal weight. I figured why not. I'm doing pretty good on the plan. ....and I've never been 150 in my adult life so this will be a whole new experience for me.
150 by the wedding day. I've got 2 months to make it happen. Ready, set, GO!
in4life You are doing terrific!!! IP is amazing isn't it!!!
