Um, well I have a mini goal of 249 by November 1. I'm going on a cruise and seeing my sister who I haven't seen in almost a year. But I would say my new year's goal would be 229. That would have me lighter than I have ever been since I've been with my husband.

Then comes the big goal of 199 by my 30th bday in May!

I want to be under 200 lbs, so that means about 33 lbs and I'm there. I feel like it is attainable. Good luck to you on your goals!

I just started phase 1 today. My first goal is to make it through phase one without cheating. I'd be over the moon if I lost 25lbs by the end of the year!! If I dropped that amount I'd be back in onederland which I haven't seen in six years. Good Luck everyone.

My goal by the New Year is to be 175. I weighed in at 191 this that's only 16 more lbs. Eek!! That is TOTALLY attainable!! How exciting! That means I need to lose about 1.3 lbs a week for the next 12 weeks. Oh yeah, totally doable! :)

I would like to be at a healthy BMI - 164 lbs. That makes just about 20 lbs. for me. Pretty attainable.

My goal is also to be at a healthy BMI by the start of the new year.
I started a few weeks ago and things are going a little more slowly than I'd hoped but I should still be there by 12/31.

I'll be the third to post that I'd like to break out of the 200's by New Year's... I haven't weighed under 200 since 9th grade, so I'm incredibly excited at the prospect of making it!!!

I would love to weigh 135 by then. Or possibly 133 that way I could say that in 1 year I lost 52 pounds in 52 weeks.

My DH and I have decided to go the SBD way, and plan to start phase 1 by the end of the week (mainly because I need to plan the menu) I would love to at least be down 15 or 20 by then, and firmly planted in the new lifestyle.

I agree! My goal weight was set at the beginning of the year, so I would love to lose another 9-10 lbs by the end of the year. It's not likely since it took me 9 months to lose 12 lbs, but I'll see what I can accomplish in the right direction.

So that's 3 lbs each month until :newyear:

Wow - I'm amazed at the aggressive goals! I hope you all make them!!

I know that my last 20 lb. could take a very long time for me, and I've already experienced a month long plateau during this past summer. After going through that and seeing that my body needed a break to adjust before it was ready to lose again, I'm not so goal-oriented with numbers. With that in mind, I'm thinking I'll be happy if I lose another 5 lb. between now and the new year. Slow and steady for me!

Since I am seeming to have such issues, I would like to just be under 200 by then... thats about 12 little lbs. I know I can do it- but I have lost my umph. Here is some :dust: I am going to bathe in it!!!!!

40lbs total lost is the goal. I am shooting for 10 lbs a month. A bit ambitious but I am getting married in July and I refuse to weigh over 200lbs on that day!

I wanna lose 12 more pounds and get down to 127. I'm 139 as of today (first time I've seen the 130s for 2 years!!) 12 pounds, 12 weeks, totally doable. :-)

My goal for the New Year is to lose another 22 pounds so that I can say that I lost 100 pounds this year. I'm averaging 10 - 12 pounds per month (except last month when I gained 5 pounds and plateaued before FINALLY losing them plus 2 more pounds) so it should be doable. Woot woot...100 pound milestone, here we come!!!

My goal is to make it to or below my current goal weight of 170 by New Year's. That's only about 20 pounds, so if I stay on track and get my butt back in the gym I might just make it.

I'm terrified of Thanksgiving. I'm thinking about signing up for a 5k or something that day just so I don't feel bad about indulging.

Halloween is not a big worry for me. I get sick of candy pretty quickly.

Now Christmas, hrm. We're going up to visit my parents for the holidays and staying for 2+ weeks. I'm trying to line up a visitor pass to a local gym up there because the last time that i went up there and didn't work out is when I fell off the wagon and didn't get back on for 2 years. I can't let that happen this time.

It worries me how just thinking about this can make me almost physically ill. gaining back this weight is one of the scariest things I have ever encountered.

that being said, this weight is moving like molasses. I would be happy with 5 lbs. a month, but would like to be in the 160's for the Christmas season which is 15 lbs. away.

I would really really like to stretch myself to get to 250 by Christmas...its a HUGE loss but Id like to get as close to it as possible.

Which is about 8 lbs away. Hard to tell since my weight bumped up from some off-plan indulgences last night :(

Goal: -8 lbs by 12/31/10 and start 2011 @ MAINTENANCE!

There actually was a thread started for 3 months until 1/1/2011, where a lot of people had entered their end of the year goals...maybe we could mesh the two threads somehow?

My end of the year goal is to be down 16 lbs. That's a little over a pound a week, so I think it's totally doable!!! Just gotta kick my exercise into gear here....even a low gear would be more than I'm doing now! lol

I think its a great idea! I just cooked a Canadian Thanksgiving dinner this weekend (I'm a Canadian living in the US) and after some bread and pie, etc, I know I need all the support I can get to make it through!

I'm worried about a cruise we have in November, and Thanksgiving. Christmas will be fine I think as my mother in law makes steak and spinach salad for Christmas dinner :)

I'm shooting for a 10-lb. loss between now & January 1. That'll get me down to 191. It's going to be TOUGH because this is our year to travel for the holidays and that means LOTS of food and not a lot of exercise, especially during Christmas. :yikes:

Is it weird I'm not really working towards a goal right now? I have this vague idea of being skinnier for my trip in March, but I haven't aimed at specific-ness.

So January 1, 2011... that is roughly 7-8 weeks. I would LOVE to be under 200 lbs. That is 32 lbs from now though. It's probably too close for THAT but to be as close as possible!

So let's shoot for 20 lbs down. Let's shake a fist at those holidays and cry, "Fie! Fie I say!" :D

I would be absolutely thrilled to lose 15 lbs by yr end (which is halfway to my goal). That would put me at 160 which I haven't seen for about 4 yrs.

I'd hoped to loose 5 lbs a month and be at a normal BMI (140) by tomorrow morning. I'm at 141.5 today though so it's not likely I'll make it.
