Default It DOES work

So, I was doubtful that SBD would work.........I started at the end of August, and I get weighed in at TOPS every week, and was going up and down-first week I did not go, second week had only lost .2, 3rd week lost 4.8, 4th week GAINED 2.6 last week lost 3.2. TOPS is 7 o clock at night so difficult --very dependent on what you eat that day etc.

ANYWAY, went to doc yesterday and in 1 mo. have LOST 12 LBS!! So excited
It does work!!!

Congrats! 12 lbs in a month is great! I'm 6 days into P1. Yesterday I was down 3.5 lbs (water weight I know, but in my mind, still counts...lol) Today, I was back to where I started...and then TOM showed up...ugh.

stocco88--the first 2 weeks I followed the book very closely, however I am very picky about food-so I would change like Wed. meal to Tues to what I liked, but was very strict with my self. I had no fruit, no bread, no potatoes--if it was not on the "allowed" list, I did not eat it. No, I do not exercise everyday--I try to go to gym 3 - 4 days/week for 40-60 min.

wesley587--stick with it........it will work for you......

Agreed...it DOES work. This is the only "eating style" I've been able to follow with any weight loss results and not being totally frustrated at not being able to eat stuff. I've always had good results....then I think I'm good and can do it the way I want....fall off the wagon...eat crap and gain weight back.

Hopefully I can make my BRAIN stick with it this time around. At least I've only gained back like 7 lbs this time...lol Back on track with me....gotta quit letting my off track times last SO long

Stick with it folks. It works....and it's GOOD for your body in more ways than 1. My doc ONLY recommends south beach style diets to his patients...made me happy when I heard that. His words were Mediterranean (sp?) style diets...but same thing..he he

Congratulations Lose4Baby! Your success is fantastic. It is a lifestyle change. One that you can't just go off of after losing. That was the biggest obstacle to me in being able to maintain my loss.

Woohoo! I know, it's so weird to be losing weight and not feeling hungry or deprived... soo much better than calorie counting for me. Congrats on your success!

Congratulations!!! It really does work as long as you stick to the plan. Matter of fact, it's the ONLY thing that has worked for me. I told my doctor at my last appointment that I never would've tried SB if he hadn't recommended it to me. I'm SO glad he did!!!

I had my doubts but it works if you work it!!! Only 3 pounds left to hit my goal, and not missing the refined carbs and sugar at all....I think this is going to be the one that sticks!
