Default Stomach Ache While Working Out?

For the last few weeks I've been getting a stomach ache every time I work out. I work out in the morning and I can't get out of bed any sooner than I already do, but I need SOMETHING to keep me from passing out while I'm working out.

Typically I just eat a handful of nuts 30 minutes before I work out. Anyone else deal with this? Or know how to beat it? Sometimes it's excruciating.

nuts may be too harsh on the stomach.
Maybe try a protein shake?

Not a bad idea, I can try that tomorrow. No clue why I didn't think of that before lol

fat and protein take longer to digest so if you start working out too soon after eating, it will give you cramps. i work out first thing in the morning too and i've found that sticking to mostly carbs makes things a lot easier. i currently eat ff yogurt about 30 minutes before working out with no problems. i've also done whole grain waffles without any issues either.
