Anyone else in the 2ohs? Weighed in at 209 this morning! Lets support each other to get out of the 200s! :D

I'm guessing I am alone! How weird!!!

09-08-2010, 04:35 PM
I would love to join you - but it's going to take me quite a while!!!!

I joined another challenge then realized I was in the 20 something subforum-oops. ;) Lively but not where I belong.

So here I go I expect to lose a lb a week so it will be 2 months of work.

I'm with ya! Congrats on breaking into the 2 Oh's!

I weighed in at 203 this morning.

I will support ya! I just graduated to onderland today!

Thanks for all the support! I have kind of hit a wall since arriving in the 200's...which is ******ed because I'm SO close to Onederland...I don't know why I feel myself giving up all the sudden. I'm trying to push through though! I'm also doing C25K and I surprised myself by doing pretty good on starting week 2. Week 3 is going to be the hard part though...3 minutes of running? I don't know!!!

Also tryn2bfit, I just looked at your blog, so cute!! I might just have to follow you! But I was wondering, what is that polar watch you are wearing? That thing is COOL. I would love to have a more accurate way to tell how many calories I am burning!

I am in the 200's, fighting my way downwards. I sympathize with you about the "wall", it's hit me too. It's been nothing but struggle ever since I hit 213, and my loss has dropped to 2 lbs a month, if I'm lucky. Le sigh. But I shan't give up, no!

I'm another one working to get below 200. I'm 206 as of this morning. In just four pounds, I'll have lost 100 pounds total, so that's the first goal I'm really focused on right now.

09-09-2010, 11:02 AM
I just entered the 220s but I cant wait to get to where you guys are lol good luck

Tryn2befit Yay for breaking through !

I didn't think I would ever see the shores of onederland but now I really believe that it can happen-then losing more will happen-one pound at a time .

What type of plan are you all on? I am following(very loosely)the Sonoma diet.
It emphasizes whole grains(like spelt and steel cut oats-high fiber) and smaller portions by using a 9 inch plate rule.It is a Mediterranean diet and allows a glass of wine. I don't take advantage of that unless I go out to dinner. As long as my scale moves I'm happy to take my time. By the time I lose another 50lbs my caloric needs will probably be right where I am now at
1300 to 1400 calories so I guess I'm on the wagon for good.

Slightly more then a month. Started at 209 and now almost at 202. I usually only claim a lb on my Sunday weight in but it looked like 202 this morning.

When I finally get to 199 I'm claiming it the first day.!!!

Walking this month-average of 2 miles a day. Some days my legs hurt before I even hit the street-doesn't seem to get any easier with practice.

Ate Chinese for lunch 3 days last week. even making good choices ie seafood that is a bad habit.

Where are all the folks nearly there..Are you better on track then I have been?

10-14-2010, 03:29 PM
I got a little more serious today about tracking all my food. I went to see the nutritionist yesterday (we have one at work!) and I have a new outlook. I am going to meet with her every couple weeks to "check in" and get weighed. I am really excited about having another support. I have been in the "single digits" for quite a while now... The day I see 199.8 or less on my scale - EVERYONE is going to know about it. Lol!

Seriously! I feel the same way. Been in the 00's since I posted this! Frustrating, but I gotta keep going.

i just recently got out of the two-oh's. what helped me is simple. focus on nsv's.
consistent exercise
building muscle
pushing myself to do more squats etc.
find your challenge.
something to get you excited.
new w/o maybe
follow others on weight loss journey

you CAN do it. if i can do it, anyone can. it's been several years since i've been this weight or under 200 at all.

Congrats to those out of the 200's. I have a ways to go, but I am pushing for it. I cannot wait! It'll take me awhile but, I"m right there with you all trying to get to onderland. Keep it up! We really can do this! :)
I just joined the gym this week and am getting an indoor stationary bike this weekend. So I hope to up the ante on exercise.

10-15-2010, 02:36 AM
katy, what is nsv's?

10-15-2010, 03:15 AM
Hey all =) weighed in at 219 last week. You're all so close, I can't wait to be down there! What's crazy is, I feel like I've been above 200 for so long, around 5ish years, give or take. I can't remember ever seeing 180 or 190 on a scale. I haven't hit any walls yet, but I don't want to jinx it!!!!!!

I just have to know, if any of you are coming from the mid to higher 200s and have reached the 100s, what is it like seeing that on the scale? Is it absolute bliss? Haha! XD

Hit 205 today, after spending about a month and a half in the 200's. Ah well. I know I can make it, I just have to keep trying!

I'm planning on getting a tattoo when I hit Onderland. I've been thinking about it for years, and I think I'm finally at the point where my skin has tightened up enough and won't be changing.

10-15-2010, 10:53 AM
what is nsv's?

Non Scale Victory! Any victory that has nothing to do with the scale... such as fitting into a new outfit, doing more pushups, running further or faster, going to a party and not eating cake...

Hi... I've been in sort of Onder-limbo... I'm so close I can feel it, but I've been here since June! I know I need to focus... hopefully, we can all get there together!!

Thanks for clarifying, SCraver! I agree that nsv's are so important!

Hello everyone! I too have been kinda stuck here in the 200's for a while now. :stress: I am trying to remember that I also was stuck at 223 for a little while and when that broke things rolled quick again for a little while. Now I am going back and forth between 209-206:tantrum:
I'm trying to stay positive...if it moved before it will move again. I have not seen below the 200's in a long time:yes: I can't wait! I feel like it will give me the confidence to keep going. Thank you all for all the encouragement:wave:

I'm hoping to reach Onederland this month. I'm so close I can just about taste it. Earlier this month I had a run of weird hormonal weight fluctuations but I seem to be back on track and Onederland seems once more obtainable.

2.8 pounds to go to be below 200!

10-26-2010, 06:09 PM
Lots of folks have made real progress since this thread started> Go chics!!

I was at an even 200 yesterday and today, my "official" weigh in is on Sunday so I will post then Hope I have great news and can say 199.
Happy feet dancing is good exercise right?

I'm here too! Struggling to get out! Everytime I think "it's this week" I just get proved wrong!
But keeping my spirits up! Came a long way to get here, not backing down now!!
Come on, one-hundreds!
