Default Please use this thread for your comments for Hallowe'en challenge

Nitenic and I thought it would be a good idea to have 2 threads for the 20 by Hallowe'en challenge, one to post the weights and one for the congrats etc. That way we won't fill up the weight thread as quickly. Thanks

This is a great idea... here's the message we got from Ruthxxx in the 20 lbs by Labor Day challenge in August:

In future, challenge threads with frequent updates should be done as single posts per participant. The folks will use the edit feature to post updates within their original post. See This example. This is a sticky in South Beach.

Sorry about the 500 post limit but anything longer inhibits system performance particularly for folks still on dial-up.

It was too late for us though. However, we do follow this in the Our Daily Food Journal thread.

I have edited my post with my weight this morning. Technically the only post on that thread should be the ones with our weight....correct?
Hope I did it correct.
Have a great week!!

Enter a post in this thread, include your starting weight.

How to find it in the future, scan the main forum page , scroll down and look for the thread called "20 lbs Halloween Challenge."

Default Attention all challenge participants!

We still need starting weights from the following:

calebs grandma
Cptswife
ChelleFl
floradeluna
IdivorcedBenandJerry
KDWS
Kristiv88
mommy1028
rinoa
rosemary2612
Sameen
Salesgod
shrinkingsusie
Starrfish23
tie1103

*Please use the suggested format that lists each week and then edit your post so that all of your info stays together. If you have a previous post that has something other than weight info, please delete that post (under advanced options when you edit) so it's easier to navigate.*

Thank you! We're excited by the huge response!

Marionm, congrats on the loss! The challenge officially started 9/5 and week one weights will be recorded the week of Sept. 12. Would you like for me to use your Sept. 1 or Sept. 8 weight as your starting number? I think it makes more sense to use Sept. 8 for this week and Sept. 15 for next week but it's up to you. I just realized that you may have done this so that you can end before Oct. 31 instead of after. Either way, please confirm. Thanks!

Hi Meandmax, great job on the 5 lb loss! Since you have two weights for this week, that puts you at one more week than we are having in the challenge. Would you prefer that I use your Sept. 6 or Sept. 8 weight? The challenge officially started Sept. 6 but it's up to you. We won't record week one weights until next week. Thanks!

Let's use the September 1st one since 8 weeks will be October 27th and that will be my last weigh in before Halloween. I apologize for being a little off timing but my weigh ins are Wednesday and even though I'll occasionally weight at home I'd like to stick with one scale's numbers.

Thanks for checking and for all your work!

Sounds like a plan! No problem on the timing, just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly.

Of course you're going for 30. You are the SPEED-o King. When do you start back on the program full speed?

What? You're -2.8 this week?! Only well-steamed for you ... don't want any carrots to slow you down!

Question:

I don't weigh in officially until Thursdays. Can I wait until then to change my weight?
