Default vitamins?

anyone tried any vitamins like b12 and niacin? I've got a whole list of vitamins here that supposedly increase your metabolism as well as other things but I wanted to know more about it before I went spending a butt load on vitamins.

I don't know about individual vitamins, but I do take a complete multivitamin/multimineral supplement every day.

I was considering taking b12 and cinnamon. I've taken b12 before and have never felt more awake during the day so I loved them already but just stopped taking them for no reason. Cinnamon supposedly has a lot to do with keeping blood sugar down and I heard something about it effecting metabolism. My husbands a diabetic and I want to raise my metabolism so if it's true, it sounds like a win win for both of us.

I bought this product today:

http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Life-.../dp/B00013YYR6

Today,
I ran out of egg protein Jay Robb shake powder, I read reviews on this stuff, it is supposed to be pretty good.

I bought it at my local store, it is cheaper online.

B12 can be important, I actually have a deficiency so I take 1500 a day and the doctor gives me shots, I also started taking C, glucosomine, fish oil, and a multi.
