Okay everyone......this is it our final week of the summer challange lets really bring it this week. That means in eating, exercise, or just staying OP. If you don't have a loss that's okay just try to stick with your program for the week.

Now for the results for the Blue Team.....we did awesome this week we had a team loss of 28.7lbs this week. WooHoo!!!!!! and a pretty high percentage so well see if it was enough to stay on top.

Our BL would have been babygrant but due to illness has asked to not be on the list but I just want to say again that I really hope you are feeling better soon:hug:

Wahey! Way to go everyone!! :D

I am just so happy to finally get out of the 190s! Am now really looking forward to making a serious dent in my second mini-goal this week!

So, my plan is to stick as rigidly to my food plan as I did last week and try and get the same amount of exercise in!

:goodvibes It was a good week! Although I didn't make it out of the 270's this week, I came very close. It seems like I have been hanging out there forever now. Next week for sure!

Hope you feel better babygrant. During my last "diet", I ended up having my gall bladder taken out after a pretty nasty attack that went on for over 2 weeks - but I'll say it's the best thing I ever did!

Congrats to dayoneagain, Mercy03, Bigmid and the rest of the blues for a great week of losses.

Just wanted to say to our "unofficial" member, Sameen, that your weight loss during this challenge has been amazing. 60# is awesome!!

Hey Everyone!.. sorry I have been mia so much this challenge... just lots going on.. but I am so happy to say that I have finished C25K and I ran a full 31 minutes Saturday! Was so excited and proud of myself.. now I know I can do it.. so now I just need to work on time and pace and I will be ready for the Fiddlers 5k in September! :D

Well we only have a couple weeks left on the challange and it is hard to believe that summer is almost over. Is anyone going to sign up for the Fall Challange or are you all challanged out. Has anyone made you summer goal for the challange. I would love to hear how you all did in relation to what you hoped to do. I know you have all done great in my respects so just want to know how everyone else is feeling. I will let you know how I did but first I have to go back and see where I started to remember how I have done so far....lol short memory.

I wanted to be sure and reply to this from last weeks thread. I am really looking forward to the Fall challenge. I have really enjoyed this summer and it has really helped me stay on track. I had to go back and see what my official start weight was because I could not remember, but I have lost 26 pounds during this challenge. I had not set a goal for the challenge because I was in the midst of reaching a mini-goal of finally losing 100 pounds which I did back in June and my next mini-goal had been to get out of the 240's and see 239 on the scale, which I also did this past week. All in all I feel pretty good about my loss in this challenge. I am right at 9.8% total lost which I think I can meet 10% by our last weigh in.

So it's kinda sad this is coming to an end. It's been kinda like a ritual for me for the past 13 weeks :) Well TOM is starting sometime this coming weekend soooo I am working out extra hard to at the very minimum NOT GAIN!!

Avezy - It is coming to an end but there is a new on beginning so it all evens out......lol. Hope you can break even this week.

Well off to work again and won't be back on tonight I don't think we are all getting together from work for supper and who know's how long we will stay and gab:)

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Still having the same problems, but I go for an ultrasound on thursday, so hopefully I'll have some answers. Down 13 lbs in a week and feeling really weak and shaky due to being unable to eat. Good way to lose weight, but NOT the way I want to do it.

babygrant - make sure to get in lots of liquids if possible as that is very unhealthy for you to feel so weak.(I know you know this, it's concern not a lecture:)) Is your pain and everything been constant? My mom had gallbladder attacks but the worst was about 3 days in a row and worse at night. I really hope you get some answers and soon or you may need to go in for some interveinous liquids to get some strength back. Best Wishes.

My diet's been good the last couple of days but I've slacked with my exercise. Got a quick workout in this morning though, so feeling good. Would be lovely for us to go out with a bang on the final week and really show those Reds what we're made of! ;)

So...................I took the day off to paint my last bedroom.Mission will be accomplished:carrot:.Inside and outside painted in one looooooooooooong summer,then a weeks vacation in San Francisco and Amador county(wine country):carrot:

I can't wait until the new challenge starts and I hope it's not when I start Vacay.

Morning all,

dayoneagain: I'm the same diet off for a day and ice cream on the other. Still within my weeklys though I think. I am hoping that our exercise keeps us both on track though.

Soon2BFitChick and Mercy: I don't think we will have the purple challange this time as the new season of BL starts on Sept 21st so not that long in between challanges. I'm sure we will make a weekly chat for everyone though so don't worry. The sign up should be going up in a day or two, Shannon is working on it we are just trying to clarify a couple of the rules first.

Mercy - WooHoo.......................the painting is done....have a great time when you have your week off. If the sign up is not up by the time you go PM me and I will put you on the sign up sheet while you are away.

The sun is shining today and will be tomorrow and then rain and cold again. It has not been the greatest summer as far a weather here this year. I hope that means we will have a very balmy winter:)

Very quite on here today nobody have anything to share. I am just finishing up at work so thought I would pop in and say hello.
I was so tired today that I didn't exercise and starting to feel pretty guilty about that right about now.....not sure what I can do not about to exercise when I get home I know that too

Hey babygrant - how'd things go?? Thinking of you!

I've been good this week - somehow handling the stress of completing my thesis with the deadline looming, and sticking rigidly to my food plan.

Exercise still not happening, but I have to get my priorities right at the moment and feel like as long as I meet my food and work targets I'm doing well!


A little dilemma though...this weekend I am going to see my friend that is also completing this thesis and she's really up for a night of wine on Saturday because we haven't had any kind of social life or seen each other for ages. Then on Sunday we're going to a BBQ with loads of drink too.

I'm not worried about the food at the BBQ - I've got that totally covered because I'm on track with that. But I'm a bit nervous about alcohol.

I figure on Saturday I'm just going to say that I'm not drinking because I don't want to drink 2 days in a row when we have so much work to do on Monday. Then when Sunday comes around I can have a few small drinks and make them last for ages...I can sit with a glass of red wine for a good forty minutes.

So, yes... a little apprehensive about that one.

I'm doing okay this week. The opposite of dayoneagain and Bigmid, I've got the exercise down pat and struggling a bit on the food side. I've got a plan for today's challenges, though. A plan always helps!

Had my ultrasound yesteday and I do indeed have gallstones. Biggest one is 1.8 cm's. It's amazing how something so small can wreck so much havock on the body!

Had a doctors appointment today to go over the results and found out my liver is also inflammed. I really really try my hardest to use natural remedies and let my body heal itself, but at this point all I want is this stupid gallbladder taken out. So I'll be meeting with the surgeon soon. For now, I take percoset and gravol.

Thank you so much for thinking about me. It really means a lot. I wish so badly that I had time for personals, but I just don't have it in me right now and I hope you all understand.

Down a pound. Which makes it 24 pounds for this challenge. I'm very happy!

If I happen to get a down tic tomorrow, I'll change it in the morning. But I figured I'd better post my Saturday weight since that's what I've been doing and I don't want to forget on the last week!

Morning everyone, I'm off to work in a couple minutes just wanted to stop in and say hello to my team. The sign up for the new challange is up so if you want to join in the Fall Focus 2010 you need to sign up there before Sept 12th. If you want to stay on the Blue team you must put that in your post as well.
I did a volunteer thing through work last night it was at GlobalFest which is the fireworks festival it was fun the fireworks were good but it was so cold....crazy, crazy summer.

dayoneagain - good luck with the thesis and with the entertainment activities....I know you'll be able to do them all and stay OP. Good job with the food and work targets they are key

Wow not even one other post yesterday???? Where is everyone I hope you are all doing something really fun for the last weekend in August. I missed my run on Friday due to the volunteering and today it is raining and very cold so not sure if I am going to go running in that today either. Let's hope it clears up.......well had to do it yesterday......turn on the furnace......it's August what's going on this summer??????

Well I am down 1.6lbs for the week which puts me at 18.8lbs down for the challange. I am really happy with that as it is coming off slower now that I am getting to the lower weights. But I am a firm believer in slower is better that way your body has time to adjust and hopefully my skin does too......except my stupid bat wings.....lol

Don't forget to weigh in and to post as that's the only way to make the BL title. Have a great day everyone.

Well I somehow gained a pound this week, which sucks to end the challenge that way, but I guess I should be happy with what I accomplished. At least I got past my plateau I've been on for the last year!

Hopefully the next one I can do alot better!

Well that's it for this challange everyone and I just want to say good job to everyone. This was an awesome team and the Blue Team really did an amazing job for the summer challange.
We did lose 4 people due to not weighing in tonight as well as 2 or 3 to use freebies due to no WI or WI late. however we all did fantastic and I hope to see you all back for the Fall Focus challange.
I will once again be the leader for the blue team (I hope your all okay with that) in the meantime I will be posting the purple team bridging the gap thread so we can keep ourselves accountable during the break between challanges.
