I'm back as promised with a new thread for August! :)
If you aren't a daily weigher, just do whatever it is you do. Doesn't really matter! :D Tell us your goal for the month, be it related to exercise, clothing size, weight... Whatever you're hoping to accomplish by the end of the month!

Hi Diana and all others:

I have been doing weight watchers since the first of June. So far 18 lbs. Got much further to go. I weigh in every Wed. morning for tracking. I have 82 lbs before I make goal weight. What a challenge but I keep plugging along.
Good luck to you and all others can't wait to see the progress every one makes!:dizzy:

Hi Diana, and everyone else. :) My goals for this month is to lose 10 pounds. I have an issue with wanting to see the scale move EVERY DAY (or I get discouraged), so I'm gonna try my best to just weigh once a week. Sunday being the weigh in day. I'll post other days I weigh in, also. :)

I am in! I am weighing daily again this month too. Will only change my ticker if I keep a weight at least two days in a row, good or bad. Hopefully no bad this month! I didnt do measurements today but will do them tomorrow morning. Hoping to lose 10 lbs this month. I will I will I will!!!!

For the past 2 months I've started each month with so much determination and joined the weight loss challenges and then over the month I've slowly got off track so I'm hoping that by joining this thread I'll stick to my diet better because I'll have something to hold myself accountable to. I'm a daily weigher but in just over a week I'll be going on holiday and I don't know whether I'll have access to the internet or even a decent set of scales, I get back on the 31st so I'll be able to weigh in then. I'm hoping that I'll actually be able to lose weight on holiday as I think I'll be doing lots of walking and also my weight problems stem from the fact I eat constantly all day because I'm bored and I won't have that problem on holiday. Anyway, essay over, here are my numbers:

1: 136.0
2: 140.25 (thanks to huge amounts of food and drink the night before for my best friends birthday!)
3: 138.5
4: 138.0 (I cannot believe how badly I ate today, not looking forward to weighing in tomorrow)
5: 138.5 (not the right direction but not as bad as I thought it'd be after yesterday's greediness)
6: 138.5 (would've liked to see a loss, but maintaining is better than gaining right? Hoping I'll be down to 138 tomorrow)
7: 138.5
8: 138.5
9: 138.5 (I'm just pleased I managed to maintain over a weekend with lots of parties and celebrations!)
10: 138.25 (good to see the scale back down again, even if only by a little, had a good day today so hopefully I'll be down again tomorrow)

Hey girls, I'm back! So I had an absolutely horrible week of binging... Ice cream, chocolate, mac n cheese, you name it... I ate it... and lots of it at that! So everyday I got further and further from my plan... I started feeling super ashamed of myself... too ashamed to get on the scale... and way too ashamed to get on here and report... So I finally made myself get on the scale today... and lo and behold... I gained.... duh duh duh duh.... half a pound... WHAT?!? Are you serious??? No working out, eating all I want of EVERYTHING I want... and I gained HALF a pound?!? I sure punished myself mentally for the 10 pounds I KNEW I gained back... Oh well... I'm back... *head hung in shame* Today: 258.5

We're halfway through August! How is everyone doing with their goals?

I started off at 236, and am hoping to reach 226 by the end of the month... As of this morning, I've lost 5 pounds, so I have 5 to go! Certainly seems doable, so long as the scale cooperates... ;) Which it so rarely does! :lol:

Im feeling fairly discouraged today. I have been working so hard and lost 8 pounds since the begining of this month only to see a 4 pound gain from this weekend. I know some weight flux is normal but its hard to see all that hard work wasted. Im hoping its mostly water weight and I can get it off this week and get back on track.

I am using my original post to keep track of my daily weigh ins, but am a little discouraged too. Have been SO good, and just not making the progress that I am hoping to. Guess patience is a virtue, but I don't have any! My original goal of losing 10 lbs this month isnt going to happen. I will be happy if I can break into the 160's by the end of the month.

Well, the month is quickly drawing to a close... I can pretty safely say that I'm not going to hit my goal of 226! But being only a few pounds off isn't too shabby, I don't think. ;) I hope you guys are hanging in therre! Seems like August was a little rough for some of us. :hug: We just have to keep moving forward! And by that, I mean I'm going to have to start a September thread in the near future... :D

I'm ending the month weighing 229 today, 3 pounds away from the goal I'd set. I'm still feeling good about progress, though, so I'm alright with that!
