Red face Measurements!

I haven't measured myself in years and years and years. I always wish I remembered to measure at the start of a diet.
It's taken me 10 weeks of healthy eating and 21lbs lost to actually find the tape measure.....

So, after effort, eating and exercise: I measure 47-45-47. I always did say I was virtually spherical, here's the proof!

Oh well, it can only get better.....

OK, maybe I'm convinced a bit more about measuring.

Although I've only lost about 3lbs more than the above post, I measured last night just to prove to myself I wasn't losing inches and I'm now 46-42-46. Damme, that's nearly an hourglass!

Quite nearly! You should definitely be proud of that!! Look at the waist difference! That's incredible!

The technical definition of an hour glass is that the chest and hips are within an inch of each other and the waist is 9+ inches smaller.

If you keep losing the way you are, that's what you're headed for. I'm glad you found the measuring tape. I love to measure every few months or so. It's usually jaw dropping, if I can manage not to do it too often. I don't find small increments in measurement nearly as exciting as small increments on the scale. But large increments on the measuring tape, like what you just recorded...well that darn well makes my day!

Oh I didn't know the 9" definition! I like that, it definitely gives me something to aim for!
