I will stay on plan today because I've committed to aim for a 10lb loss this month. And I will stay on plan no matter what the scales say this morning ~ I'm retaining a lot of water today, so they're bound to be way up.!

You confused me at first with "officialy only obese". I knew that you had not been morbidly obese for a long time! Got to looking at the classifications and saw Severely Obese. I am glad that the BMI calculator I used just showed morbidly obese and then obese. I was severely obese and did not even know it! You have been flying for the last few pounds!

I will stay on plan today because I really want to see 189 on my scale.

I went and double checked before I posted, because I discovered last month that the other targets I planned in last year - 'overweight' and 'normal' were several pounds higher than what the charts show this year. Can't think what went wrong there, because those were weights that I knew about in 2004. Anyway, by everybody's reckoning, the 'obese' one is right, so woohoo.

You are so close to that 189, and so persistent! I admire you!

I will stay on plan today because I am about halfway to my goal of losing 20lbs on a month. I re-started two weeks ago and have already lost 9.2lbs. I'm super psyched about that!

Ugh... I discovered the "severely obese" classification about 2 weeks after dropping out of Morbidly Obese and being all excited that I was just "regular" obese. It was kind of a bummer, but now I see it as it just gave me another milestone. I'll be "regular" obese at 229 lbs.

Looking at my weight loss for the year was a little depressing but I have to remind myself that I have been losing steadily even if slowly. I will stay on plan today because I saw 189 on Sunday and I want to see it again so that I can claim it.

Because I think it is possible to get used to losing a pound or even less a week instead of 2 or 3, and the longer I stay on plan the more I'll be used to it. It was *so* much more fun to record frequent changes, though.
