Since losing 93lbs Ive learned to love myself. Ive been able to shop in the jrs dept. I can run && play with my sons. My husband can pick me up!!! I have gone from a 44dd to a 38d. I have gone from a size 24 to a 14. I have a very lovely neck line&& collar bone I never knew existed.

Best of all was when my son came up && put his arms around my waist && said MOMMY I can reach all the way around you now! Best of the best :)

Well, I am not really a 100+, but I lost about 20 pounds and today I dressed up sexy and while shopping bought me a nice little nightgown :)
Btw, I am a 200+

And I sooooo love getting flirted with and I got plenty of that today.

All in all was great day!!!!!

I have the confidence to go to a movie theater or restaurant without worrying that I won't fit in the seat.

Since I've lost weight...
- I've gone from a size 24 to an 18
- I now fit in patio chairs comfortably
- I learned that running can be fun and addictive
- I've gotten my libido back (sorry if TMI, but really, how do you go 2 years not wanting sex?)
- I've saved money by eating in
- I've learned to like veggies
- I've gained some confidence, but have more to go

So far on my weight loss journey, I have:
- sat in a booth without my boobs resting on the table;
- ran up two flights of stairs without huffing and puffing and there was no reason other than I felt like it;
- lowered my blood pressure, body fat percentage, cholesterol, fasting blood sugar levels, and triglycerides;
- purchased clothes in the non- plus sized section of the store and they fit;
- participated in sporting activities with loved ones;
- had someone not recognize me;
- had men look at me in a way I hadn't seen in years;
- greatly reduced the number of incidents of thigh burn (rubbing together painfully);
- purchased a bathing suit;
- had more energy;
- reduced my snoring;
- completely eliminated that achy foot thing that happened when standing on your feet for a bit;
- not been the biggest one at many gatherings, and, and, and.....

Since I've lost weight I've...

Become MUCH more self-confident, stopped being a pushover, and started going after what I wanted.

Realized that I could get up in the morning, get dressed, and without much fuss look fine.

Gotten IN SHAPE and realized that I can be healthier at 49 than I was at 39 by a lot.

Said goodbye to the plus size stores.

Reacquainted myself with the joy of being 5'8" in 4" heels.

Realized that I no longer have to dedicate extra time to household chores because I get so tired that they take me so long.

I've become interested in dressing myself, putting together flattering outfits rather than just buying whatever fits that I don't hate.

I have:
learned a new way to cook, and I love it
have also gotten my libido back, didn't realize it was gone, until it came back
have discovered that I am no longer invisible
sat in a booth yesterday with room to spare
can move around better
fit into my smallest pants with ease
am NO longer the biggest girl in the room every where I go!!!!!!!!!!

I have...
*Gained more confidence
*Gone from a size 26 to size 11 (juniors)
*Went snorkeling
*Started wearing dresses/shorts/skirts more often
*Learned that healthy food way better than fast food
*Found out you can change recipes to make them healthier and they can even taste better :)
*Learned that I have total control over what I eat and do not eat
*Found working out to be fun (esp. group classes)
*Gone out in a bathing suit without a shirt over it
*Noticed that I have been getting a lot of positive attention from guys (my fave :) haha)

- pulled the seat belt tight on an aircraft seat
- begun to dress like a person again...at my heaviest I got a bad case of sad sack.
- biked 27 miles and enjoyed it. And hiked, and swum, and then biked...
- walked proudly in public, not caring if anyone notices me
and there are many more.

*I have not recognized myself in a photo (OMG, that's *me*?)
*I have been flirted with by strange men AND my husband.
*I've taken to wearing sundresses...without a bra (probably contributed to the above LOL)
*I've gone bra shopping to have "the girl" say, "Are you SURE you're that big?"
*I've fallen in love with Zumba
*I've had various bits and pieces waxed...without feeling self-conscious
*I bought a bikini, hope to wear it in October
*I smile more

I have rediscovered my feet.

Clipped my toenails without losing my breath.

Gained a little confidence that I had lost.

Gone down 1 size so far.

*I don't worry about how far I might have to walk anymore

*I've gone to worry about not being able to find anything that could fit me in plus size depts/stores to wearing the smallest sized tops (my hips just have to catch up now)

*I've overcome my fear/embarrassment and now love going to the gym; I bought a bathing suit and have gone swimming

*my health has majorly improved: bp, cholestorol, stamina, acid reflux/heartburn gone, sleep apnea gone (I'm sure there's more)

*I'm happier and more active

*I don't think about eating and food all the time

*I'm a lot less self conscious about my size

I think the best thing is that I no longer think that the first thing people notice about me is my weight and judge me for it. :D

*I don't think about eating and food all the time

Oh my gosh, yes. This is a big one for me. I used to spend SO MUCH TIME either eating, thinking about eating, getting food, getting rid of food wrappers and crumbs.

Now, I really don't think about food much at all. I think I probably think about it about as much as an average person. Sometimes I forget to eat!

*I don't think about eating and food all the time

Yes, me too!! I'd forgotten until you posted this how much food used to consume my every waking thought, always wondering when my next meal would be. I thought dieting meant always being hungry too. :^:

Loving this thread! :love:

Since I've lost weight I have:

- gone from a tight 28 to a loose 16 (and even 14s in some cases)
- said goodbye to shopping at Lane Bryant
- started running and returned to biking
- completed my first 5K, my first 10K, my first half-marathon and my first triathlon
- discovered that I have a skeleton under all that fat, and love seeing/feeling new ones appear
- stopped snoring
- stopped sweating just from being outside in the summer or walking from my car to my office
- stopped feeling out of breath from normal walking
- started looking forward to exercise
- gone horseback riding
- gone whitewater rafting
- gone ziplining
- started mountain biking
- discovered that I do in fact, like to shop for clothes
- realized that life is so much more and so much better, than what I had been living
