You all may have already done this at some time but I was thinking it would be fun to go to the pet store, find a bag (or bags) of dog food that equals the amount of weight you have lost and take a picture. We could post the pictures to this thread. Even keep a series of pictures (two lb box of food up to 100 lb bag). I started thinking about this because I was thinking of carrying 100 lbs and then I thought I should go to the pet store and try to lift (and carry) 50 lbs of dog food. I know from experience that it is difficult to do and I'm carrying 100 lbs right now! I haven't lost anything yet but when I do I'll start posting the pictures...even if it is me holding a 2 lb box of doggie treats :^:

Sounds like fun, I might do that.

That does sound like fun! I remember the day I weighed myself holding my vacuum cleaner! It weighed 45 pounds, exactly the amount I'd lost. Next on my list is taking a picture of me standing on the scale with my son, but darnit, the kid keeps moving my target! (He won't stop growing!) He's 89 pounds now so I have a ways yet to go. I hope he doesn't get past 100 before I reach my goal. I'll have to go hunt down someone else's kid.

I like this idea!

Another thing I did, and posted around here, was take pictures of myself in size 10 jeans when I was still wearing 18's. :D I took progressive pictures of me getting into them. Kind of fun.

I once went to the grocery store, and looked at the one lb ground beef section. I pictured 120 of those things! That's a lot when you think about it!

I think about that often when I'm heaving the dogfood out of the car - 15kg sacks of it. I've lost about 1.25 sacks since my highest weight ever, and just over half a sack this time. My ultimate aim is to lose 3.5 sacks.

I like the following list, which does the rounds every so often.
