Good Morning All:

Sloan posted late last night, so you might want to catch up with her.

I hope you all have a great OP day. I'm on my porch, listening to the birds, including a noisy Jay who seems to be calling all his cousins in the county to have breakfast.

I received bad news about my older brother this morning from one of his daughters. She and her brother have moved my brother into an assisted living place, but they fear his health is much worse than they expected. So, it seems that we are headed for a series of medical and social work tests for him. It will not be easy.

I seem to have started this week with new resolve. I hope it lasts past noon!

Good Afternoon Chicks! I lost a pound and now I'm off to do errands. I think I'm making Core Chicken Cacciatore tonight or tomorrow for dinner. I've been craving it!

Hey chicks! We got an early start this morning to go to the nurse practitioner to get blood drawn and follow up on DH's diabetes. He has been diabetic for 20 years and is very thin for a diabetic with adult onset. We found out today that his pancreas is no longer making any insulin, so he will now take insulin before meals and at night. We knew this was coming, but it will still be a difficult change. I have been strict OP for the last four days and hope to weigh what my tracker says I weigh within the next two days.

Rhonda, it sounds like you have had lots of bad news over the past few days. Does your brother live near you? I'm praying for peace for you and God's grace in the lives of your friends/family that are hurting.

Vickie, congrats on one more pound. One at a time, girlfriend!!!! You are doin' it ;)

I'll check in later. TTFN

:welcome: Mandy. It's good to have you here. Please keep posting. We'd love to get to know you ;) ;) ;) for success with your new job.

Rhonda, I am so very so very sorry about your brother's declining health. My heart goes out to all of you.

Vickie, congratulations on another pound gone to never never land. Are you back on CORE instead of JC? Your chicken sounds delish.

Nancy, sounds like your party was a huge success.

Sloan, we zoomed through Nashville today. Did you hear me calling your name out the window as we drove around the loop? I knew you were busy and we were burning miles--but I was thinking warm wishes as we sailed through.

I am resolved this week, too, and probably won't lose this week but am aiming for a maintain. (pun intended)

Have a great day, everyone. We'll be in Ohio in the morning and I'm as OP as I can be. Life is good.

Thanks everybody for your good wishes. He is lucky that his children still care about what happens to him; he's been a hard one all his adult life. But, we are doing all that we can to protect him in a very hard time for him. He is living 5 minutes away from me, but I am not the one to take direct care of him, if for no other reason than he won't listen to me.

Vickie, congratulations on the pound off. I need to do that.

So, Mandy, will you let us know how your new job went?

Sandra, good luck and best wishes with your aiming! All of it.

Sloan, is you DH on oral insulin, or does he now have to have injections? I have a very dear friend with Type 1. Diabetes is rough, all around.

I went to aquafit this morning and have been low calorie and Core, and drinking LOTS of water.

Wow, what's happened to us? It sounds like all of us got a big surge of resolve in the last few days. Good luck to us!

Sandra, be careful on your trip. I could have sworn I heard someone calling my name earlier today! Thanks for the warm thoughts :) If you come through Nashville on the way back, let me know and I'll come meet you at an exit for a quick hug and hello!

Rhonda, DH has been on injections for a few years now. It has always been in combination with oral medications, but now he will need the shots before each meal, too. I know it sounds silly, but he had a hard enough time remembering to take his pill before eating. Now he will have to make sure he takes his insulin with him anytime we go away from home to eat :( I'm glad your brother is close by, and I'm glad you are not his primary care giver. At least you can visit easily if you want to.

Hey Vickie, Mandy, and Nancy!!

Hi Everyone,

Today I made the decision to restart the WW Core program, I'm a little nervous as over the past five years I have given up on controling my weight issues and then I found my WW books, and the I found 3 Fat Chicks. I have a long ways to go, however, after reading some of the postings I feel motivated. So you'll be seeing me around, I hope you will assist me in my transition from not caring that I'm 220lbs to being motivated to get healthy.
Thanks for you support in advance.

Mornin' to you too, Sloan. Your poor DH! Well, all we can say really is that the meds are better than they used to be. I wish him well.

:welcome2: Ginger. We're a great group. My highest weight was 220 also, and I'm on my way to 150, slowly. Of course, we'll help you to the best of our ability. 3FC is a great site with lots going on.

My new resolve includes getting back to more walking daily. I slowed down after my late April hike so I've got to get back to it. And, I'm going NOW. I'll do about 2 miles in the morning, and 1 mile at night with the doggie.

:welcome: Ginger. We are actually doing various forms of CORE and other programs--whatever works best for us personally. I'm not positive but I don't think any of us are actually going to WW meetings. Right now, I'm on vacation and on what Sloan has labeled "Lite CORE." My highest weigh was around 228. I was 200 when I joined 3FC, and I am a little under that now.

Rhonda, Sloan, and Nancy are in a weightloss challenge. You might hop in with them if you'd like. I'm weighing every 30 days. Some weigh weekly. Whatever works.

Sloan, I'll see what I can do. I would love to get to meet you in person. It's looking like we'll be sailing by early Sunday morning. We're detouring by Fort Campbell to visit granddaughters.

Maryann, the first archers we talked with today are from Cape Cod. Small world, isn't it?

Rhonda, I'm sorry about your brother. I'm glad you are nearby.

Vickie, how is your day?

Hey chicks, I've had a weird day. I guess the grieving process is unpredictable. I don't exactly feel sad; I just have not had a "happy" day. Oh well, I'll chalk it up to grief and keep an eye on how I feel. I have been OP today; not OP lite but OP! I started the five pound challenge at 139 not 134 like my ticker says. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back to 134 and be five pounds lighter.

Sandra, if you are going to be coming from Ft. Campbell then you'll be coming right by my neighborhood. If you'd like to meet at an exit that is close by me, I'd love to come meet you in person. No pressure! If it does not work out then we'll do it another time. Just let me know. I hope you are having a fun and successful trip.

Rhonda, thanks for your well wishes for my DH. He is definitely going to have to work on staying prepared. Already today, he forgot the needles for his insulin that he takes before meals. I know it will be a process, so I'm really going to have to help him out for awhile. Good luck with your walking plan.

Tomorrow is official practice and equipment check. The excitement is building.

I'm OP by a hair, but I'm OP.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Ginger, I stay with the original Core most of the time. I don't go to meetings. I also like low GI approaches to food, and I try to eat very few highly processed foods. I recently tried Nutrisystem to support my husband who was trying it. I do NOT like it because it is so processed and I'm off it now.

As Sandra says, we try to do what we think works for us and we support one another completely and unreservedly.

Hi Gals:)

Hard to type this morning so I'm going to make this short. Just wanted to let you know why I haven't been posting.

Went to the doctors yesterday and told me the spur is not in the shoulder. So the pain has to be coming from the base of the neck area. I have to go for another MRI of the neck and a procedure for pins & needles in the left hand called AKG or something like that. If they find something in the neck the orthopedic surgeon will recommend me to a neurosurgeon to operate[microscopic] on my neck to clean out the spurs.

Scales are monsters!

Yes, I'm two days into my early morning walks: 2 miles with a good pace. I do it in about 40 minutes. Then I do one more mile in the evening with the dog. That's more like a stroll, but not too bad at 20 minutes.

Maryann, that's too bad about your neck/shoulder. But, they can do wonders so don't get too worried. My DH had back surgery and it was so simple.

Maryann, I hope you get pain relief soon. You're probably in the worst part now. Once you find out what the problem is treatment should help quickly.

Rhonda, walking in Texas heat should melt the ounces quickly.

Sloan, the scales will cooperate soon--maybe tomorrow morning.

Nancy, it's hard to stay off the scales but even harder emotionally to deal with their fluctuations. Well, it is with me anyway. I'm trying to weigh just once a month. That's not too easy to do either. Don't know the answer. There's probably a secret solution somewhere.

Ginger, how was your day?

We had check in, equipment inspection, and official practice today. Now we're just cooling off. It was hot and humid. I thought Texas heat had me ready for this, but I was wrong. I guess it's because I am wearing more clothes here than I do at home when I'm shooting.

I love my trainer: he told me to go drink 2 cups of chocolate milk. He said "don't talk to me about losing weight, go drink chocolate milk now." He said that as I could not get control of my legs after a workout! I did what he said and it helped. I could come to like this.

sloanie
07-21-2010, 11:33 PM
Wow Rhonda, what do you mean by "could not get control"? Sounds scary, to me. I'm glad Todd is taking care of you. You need to listen to him !!

Tejas
07-22-2010, 01:29 PM
I guess I should have been more specific. When I finished the workout my legs were shaking and it took a few minutes for me to be able to walk without being wobbly. But, there was no damage, just a greater fatigue than usual. It passed. Now the muscle soreness begins to set in, just like it is supposed to do.

I'm doing some volunteer work this morning, and someone brought donuts! I ate two :tantrum: They were soooo good.

sloanie
07-22-2010, 07:40 PM
Rhonda, I'm glad you are okay. I'm sorry you ate the donuts if you are, but if you enjoyed them, congrats!!!! I can happily say that donuts give me raging heartburn, so I'm not usually tempted by them.

Hope you all are having a great night. My summer is slipping away from me. We are back at school on August 2nd. Soooooo, tonight is Margarita night again!!! I'm never gonna lose the last pound of the five pound challenge.

I've got to go get my next Margarita! Adios :)

Tejas
07-22-2010, 08:03 PM
Oh, if only I got heartburn with donuts! Anyway, it's done and I'm not kicking myself too much. But, the rest of the day was disordered in terms of eating.

I'm visiting and writing on the Exercise gym junkies board and they are recommending 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. I don't get that much so I need to fix that.

Sloan, enjoy that Margarita. I'm not even close to 5 pounds off. I'm still stuck at 178 almost no matter what I do. I didn't walk this morning because my shins were sore.

Rhonda, that is scarey about your legs being shakey. I'm glad you have Todd watching over you. Donuts sound good to me. I could use a couple right now.

Sloan, I'd like a margarita, too. Enjoy your summer. You're right. It's almost over.

Today we shot the long distances. Tomorrow we'll shoot the short ones. We shot 72 scoring arrows today and will do the same tomorrow. Today's shooting took about 4.5 hours. It was sweltering. Curtis had a battery-operated fan on him between shooting ends. I was dousing myself with cold water trying to stay cool. I can't tell you how badly we were sweating. It was HOT!

Curtis was able to finish today even with knee and shoulder pains. He's scheduled for knee replacement August 3.

I shot poorly at 60 meters (36 arrows) but broke and set new National and World FITA Records for 50 meters (36 arrows). I broke the existing records about 20 points.

We're exhausted but having a fun time. It's good seeing archery friends from all over the US. Also, several nations are represented including Taipei.

My eating was not as good as it has been lately, but it's not been too bad. I normally have Peanut M&M's while shooting--but not today. That's an NSV.

I'm OP.

sloanie
07-22-2010, 10:42 PM
Sandra, congrats on avoiding the peanut M&M's. I'm so excited for you!

"I shot poorly at 60 meters (36 arrows) but broke and set new National and World FITA Records for 50 meters (36 arrows). I broke the existing records about 20 points." OMG, I knew you were a celebrity. Will your name be on a plaque somewhere? I should think so!!!!

Rhonda, you need to research the protein recommendation. My DH is 175 pounds, and our diabetes specialist recommend 85 Gms. of protein for him. I'm just saying that to say: just be sure you are following sound advice.

Sandra and Rhonda, I drank a Margarita for both of you. In fact, I think I drank one for me, too! It's a good thing that my sis lives almost next door to our house. DH joked tonight that Margarita Night would officially be extended to include Friday and Saturday night as well. I think I might just die first! Oh well, wish me luck!

Sloan, isn't that Sandra something else though! She's a champeeen and she's my cousin. I bask in her reflected glory all the time!

Sandra, I'm glad to hear that Curtis made it through. I just think "ouch" when I think of him!

I say don't die, Sloan, drink more Margarita's. I really enjoyed the one you had for me and Sandra. Now, have one for each of us. No, I'm not trying to keep you from winning the challenge

I slept 11 hours last night!!!! I haven't done that in ages.

I will check a few websites about protein/carb/fat proportions. The people who were saying the 1 g per pound are serious about weight lifting, so they might have a different set of criteria. I may not be that serious, compared to them.

Have a great day everyone...

Hi Ladies:)

MY shoulder and arm are feeling better today,I guess it the pain killer drugs that are working. Have an other MRI on my neck this Wed,and than a follow up with the orthopedic doctor on Aug 8th.

My DD is coming back up with her family Aug 2 to 5,traffic up here are horrendous. It took me 5 mins to get out of my street yesterday, the tourist know all the local streets and sorry to say don't give a bleep if your wait or not. At least in the off season the locals give each other a break.

Noticed that we have some new people on the thread. :welcome: my name is Maryann and I been on the core for 13 weeks, several years ago,but unfortunately for me the core didn't work so I'm not counting calories and eat on small plates for portion control. The woman on this board are very friendly and I enjoy there company.

RHONDA=Thanks,I not really worried as I trust the doctors up here, and I know medicine has come so far, than it was when I was a girl. The doctor told me it will be microscope just to get the mess out of the area.

SANDRA=Thanks,I know, its just the waiting that gets me nervous. This pain has been going on since March They first tried PT where it worked for a while, and than when the treatments stopped the pain came back. Now one MRI is done and nothing showed so I now have to have a second one for another area. I have my summer calender filled with doctors appointments. Congrats :carrot: on breaking the record in Archery. Your doing traffic and we're very proud of you.

Well, Sloan, have fun so that there are no calories in the drinks.

I have been reading a new book about weight lifting for women. It says essentially the same thing about 1 gram of protein per pound of weight. BUT, it does make it clear that is for people who are actively lifting weights. For other mere mortals, it say .75 or . 85 gram per pound.

I also learned that I am not eating enough calories on weight training days, so Todd's recommendation to drink chocolate milk is a good one. The book suggested that I should eat 1300 calories on non-training days and 1900 on training days. I'm going to try that approach, and add more protein.

Interestingly, the book says that one of the benefits of weight training is that you burn more calories when you are NOT exercising than do people who are doing simply aerobics when they are not exercising.

Sloan, glad it's margarita night again. Have 2 for me, please. I'm having Diet Cokes tonight. I'm too tired for alcohol.

Maryann, 5 minutes to get onto a road? That sounds like a nightmare. Will the tourists be around till Labor Day weekend?

We finished today. I won but didn't set any more records. When we get home I'll mail in my criteria for the records I won yesterday. What I'll receive is a certificate for each and my name and scores listed on the internet along with other existing records.

Curtis did well and placed well in his group. Life is good. Now we're taking it easy in a jaccuzzi suite and sipping Diet Cokes. Are we a wild pair or what?

Good Morning Ladies:)

We had a very strong rain fall last night, but what I expected didn't happen the humid weather is back again. Going to try to get my house straighten out as my DD & family are coming up in two weeks and must get the guest room ready for them.

My neck and shoulder aren't bothering me as much anymore as I'm taking the pain killers before they start, and it working so far.

My weight is at a stand still,as I haven't been exercising at all during this month.Hopefully this weather will break and I will be eating properly again instead of picking at food all day long.

RHONDA-Interesting amount of calories when training not training. I read that some where that people are not eating enough calories for the day. My doctor still tells me to lose you have to go down to 1200 and WW wanted me to go down to 1000.So what the correct answer for u gals trying to lose. So much misinformation out there, not even the doctors know.

SANDRA-I think the reason so many tourist are down here is the economy people don't want to go to far so they come from Boston or upper New York State and of course from the all the surrounding states like RI Conn & Maine. You can see tourist buses parked in the Walmart & Christmas Tree Shops parking lots.which wasn't the case last year. The majority of them will leave in August as the college students have to go back to school and the others leave around Labor Day.Sound like you are a happy caring pair, wish I had that again.

Mornin' chicks! I weighed this morning and, so far, Margarita "week" has not caused a gain. I am slowly working on the projects that I had planned to complete this summer, and I'm making good progress. Today I will be working on curtains, vases for the mantle, and household chores.

Rhonda, I have heard the same info about the increased calorie burning for weight lifters. I have also read that weight lifting wards off osteoporosis. You are superwoman!

Sandra, congrats on your winnings, and congrats to Curtis, too. Relaxing in the hot tub with DH sounds nice. We floated in our pool for a little while yesterday afternoon but kept getting interrupted. Have a safe trip home, wave to me as you pass through!

Maryann, I can't imagine how much you miss Leo. It must be very difficult. I do think you are an inspiration, though, for others who are going through the same experience. I'm glad that your family is coming for another visit. Hopefully the crazy tourists won't be in the way of your fun. Be careful to not overdo certain activities while taking that pain med. Since the pain med masks the pain, you might do too much because you are feeling better.

Hey to the rest of you chickies :) Hope y'all have a fun filled day planned! TTFN

Good Morning Chicks! Sorry I haven't been around much. It's been pretty busy with Brodie. He's still limping but the Vet is having us ride out another week, rather than taking another xray and sending to the Ortho. She is still thinking it is just a BAD sprain. He is demonstrating signs of puberty and we really can not wait much longer to get him neutered. Well, we could but we aren't willing to put up with marking, mounting, etc. We have to wait until the foot is healed so we are thinking it will happen a week from Monday. He gave us a scare last Monday night. I was cooking the Chicken Cacciatore and Brodie got a corduroy bunny tail off a knotties toy that he was playing with. Jim couldn't get him to drop it and I went in with my fingers and couldn't get it out. Brodie swallowed it! It was about the size of a cotton ball. So I quickly called the Vet....yes I'm good under pressure usually falling apart later. The told us to use peroxide and induce vomiting. I had some medicine syringes here and used it. Poor wee Brodie got sick all over the yard but gave up the tail. He seems fine now but Jim and I are just exhausted. He is more active and vital than any of the other of my Scotties! So we have to watch him closer which means less time on the computer. The Vet told us that if we hadn't gotten the ball out, Brodie would have needed stomach surgery. He'll grow out of it eventually....we hope!

So in the meantime, it's all about Brodie.

I hope you are all well. I'm reading and thinking about all of you but don't have ten minutes to spare at the moment as I'm also greedily trying to get into my pool at any chance. It's been a lovely swimming summer so far. Last year we got in only 4 times so we are quite happy this year. Jim's heel is doing well.

I'm off to errands and to get my hair done today. Someone asked me for the Cacciatore recipe. It is on our board but I reworked it a bit and figured out the calories as well since this time I'm not just doing Core. I'll post it when I have a couple of minutes. It was awesome! It made 10 servings, so I have 4 containers frozen for more dinners. All I have to do is make fresh pasta. It came out to around 350 calories which was a cup of sauce and a cup of cooked whole wheat pasta. Very filling and comforting meal.

You've all been very busy today. Sandra, I hope you're enjoying that Jaccuzi time.

I went to an hour spinning class, came home, then spent the day and evening with my niece. We had a great time. We had some difficult family matters to go through, but she and I are the family laughers and we make sure that we have some real giggle time.

Maryann, I used some equations in the book to figure out exactly what I needed to eat. The author says that taking 500 calories off what you eat is too much for weight lifters to do. He says that if you do that, AND lift weights, that the body will simply consume the protein that you're trying to make form muscle. He also says that weight lifters can gain 2 1/2 pounds of muscle a month. WOW. There must be a point at which that levels out.

Anyway, I do need to lose. It's not all muscle because the abdominal fat is still there!

Also, just to say....I remember friends complaining about arguments they had with their spouses and I would just think "count your blessings." You miss just having someone THERE.

Brodie sounds like a real little imp! And, I'm glad he gave up the tail!

Good Morning Chicks! We have had tons of rain in Chicagoland and I'm done with it. Most of the massive rains were North of us but we still got almost 2 inches here. Scary stuff.

We will take it easy here today. We'll take Brodie for his first walk today that he's had in a long time. Time to give the foot a test. Daddy is prepared to carry Brodie home if need be.

I succumbed to some unhealthy eating yesterday. I had a charcoal grilled hamburger and it was fabulous. The handful of onion rings weren't necessary anyplace but my mind. And then they were in my tummy. Well, I skipped dinner and am back on program today. I can't even say oops as I did it on purpose.

Today, I'm going to sit down with my Meat Sauce recipe as I plan to cook that maybe tomorrow night. I'll decrease the meat from the Core recipe and calculate the points and serving sizes to make it more Flore/Simply Filling. I'm still on JC but am planning to move back to Simply Filling. At least once a week, I'm going to work with one of my old recipes. The hard part is the serving sizes. I know realize that on the old Core, I was eating at least two servings at dinnertime. Not good.

What's the plan for next week?

Hi Ladies:)

Just got home from our Sunday brunch, now I'm waiting for my friend to call to see if she'd like to go to a picnic this afternoon.

The humidity is back again, but if we go to this picnic we can go swimming in the lake.

SLOAN-Thanks,That's one of the reasons my DD is coming up next week as it would have been Leo's birthday on the 2.I'm doing fine but I do get days, not as much anymore. We have seen more tourist this year then last as I I guess people still want to take vacations but not that far from home,so I guess the airlines must be doing badly..Oh No I'm definitely not exerting myself not in this heat, hopefully it will clear up so I can get the guest room in order for them.

Mary Ann, I hope you can be pain free soon without pain pills. I remember how sad my Mom felt after my Dad died when she'd see happy couples. It's normal to miss Leo and what you both had.

VICKIE-I'm going to see if I can get along with out them this evening and see what happens. Don't like to meds when I don't need them. I know the feeling your my had,it never goes away but you must continue forward and go on with the life the Lord gave us. Have two friends that don't want to go forward so my other friend and I are going to leave them behind. Its a long time coming as the both need professional help as we can't give those needs to them.

RHONDA-Oh I can understand that, that your need more calories than a person not lifting weights. But I was saying that WW and my doctor tells us that 1000-1200 is the right calorie count I don't believe this as when I eat higher my weight goes down than if I eat at the low calorie count. So who is right, that's THE 64 THOUSAND DOLLAR QUESTION????? CORRECT.

Have a nice Sunday going to watch the woman golf game.

I wish I knew who was right! But, I'm not as convinced as I was that it is calories in and calories out. Anyway, I'll keep doing what I know works, even if slowly: better food and more moving.

This evening I'm going out on a local lake with some women I've met and watching the moon rise. Now, just how cool is that?!

Robin has taken off for a few days to Va with his daughter to a funeral for an old family friend.
I took this chance since I am so tired from traveling to stay home & rest.

Since we are together 24/7 it is so nice to have the house to myself ..

I need to work on better routines ...I am so disorganized with my time...

Vickie..glad Brodie is better...My skipper is doing better than before also.

Sloan..you always get so much done..impressive..

I only have about 1 more month before I am job hunting.. I worry about how tired I am always and how that will be when I am working full time.

Maryann. glad your pain is better..It is hard to lose while you are hurting..

We should be home mid-afternoon tomorrow. This trip has been a regular whirlwind. The grands look great and Man! have they grown! They may get to come to Texas to visit us next year. They've never seen our new home. They used to spend the night with us a lot when we were in Montana--we miss that.

As to eating? I have had wayyyyy too many calories even though I've made better choices than I normally do when traveling. Last night Curtis' daughter and I had a margarita together while watching the grands swim. Life is good.

Maryann, I have another dear friend who lost her husband this past year. Both of you are remarkably strong women. I applaud you both. I'm so glad your daughter's coming to be with you. It's so important to have a support system no matter how strong you are.

Vickie, how did Brodie do on the walk? He's a feisty little rascal, isn't he? I am amazed at you under pressure. You're a "Cool Chick." I don't think I could be that cool under those circumstances.

I veered off program. This afternoon I ate 2 servings of mixed nuts. Why? I convinced myself that was a good choice since the convenience store didn't have fresh fruit. I'm a good talker and can talk myself into about anything. I hope there are ripe bananas all along the interstate tomorrow.

Sloan, I yelled again. Scared Curtis, too. I again am impressed with all your energy. You go, girl!

Rhonda, your evening on the lake sounds wonderful.

Nancy, we drove over 9 hours today and were thinking that was like a day's work on a job. Sometimes when I sub, I get just as tired. What kind of work do you do? Is it school-related?

I have about 2 more weeks before I'll weigh in so maybe I can get off what I've gained this week before then. I hope so. We'll be busy getting the place in order the next few days before Curtis' surgery. After that--I may be the main mower for awhile. (but it's a riding mower) Maybe I'll sweat some pounds off.

Got to go. Next time I'm here, we should be home. Life is good.

Hey chicks, I am at my sister's house again. Night three of the margarita maratihon. I did not get as much done today as I would have liked. I plan to make some roman shades tomorrow for my living room windows. I still have two other rooms to get window treatments made for. Hopefully, I will get a lot done this week as we will be in school next week.

Sandra, have a safe "last leg" of your trip. I think I heard your shouts today. Thanks!

Nancy, alone time sounds good to me. I love having my family around me, but I also love time to myself.

Vickie, how is Brodie? I hope his first walk went well. We had Pippi groomed, and she looks so funny! I have had to put her fleece coat on her 'cause she keeps shivering :D

Rhonda, sounds like you are making some pretty cool friends.

Maryann, sounds like things are going well.

This is the last Margarita night for a while. I'll let you all know how the weight is when I check it on Monday. Have a great night, y'all!
