:bat:Alternachicks Halloween Challenge:bat:

Welcome to the official Alternachicks Halloween Challenge. The challenge will start the week of July 25th and end on Halloween. That'll give us 14 weeks to reach some of our goals.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. From now until the challenge starts, everyone can start posting their goals. If your goal for the challenge is to lose weight, you should weigh in each week and post your results by Monday 8 am EST the following week.

Example: If it is the week of July 25th-31st, your weight for that week should be posted by August 2nd 8 am EST.

If you forget to weigh in by then, don't worry. Just wait until next week to post your results. You will not be kicked out of the challenge for missing weigh ins.

2. Not everyone may want to have a goal of losing weight. You are welcome to post your goal updates, just as others will post their weight.

Example: If your goal is to exercise 1,000 minutes by Halloween, post your total minutes of the week by the same deadline as the weigh in.

3. Every Monday, I will post the results. I will edit a post under this information, so everyone can easily see the weekly numbers.

4. Finally, have fun and chat! When we're all participating and encouraging each other, it will motivate us to reach our goals. You don't have to chat everyday, but post when you can.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Also, if the challenge has already started and you still want to join, you are welcome to participate.

My goal is to lose my 40lbs. That's not too much weight to lose in 14 weeks, is it?

I've got other goals, but they aren't weight-loss related.

I totally didn't complete my summer challenge (boo!!) so, I'm stepping up and pledging to complete this challenge, even if I don't meet the goal, I'll be weighing in every single week!!

I would like to lose 10kg (ugh, sucks being in mainland Europe) also known as 22lbs. I'll weigh in on my kg scales when I'm back in Italy ready for the start of the challenge :)

Thanks, and good luck to you as well! My mom says that for my height, 140lbs is overweight. But I haven't weighed that since about 4th grade, so it's good enough for me. In 3rd grade I weighed 130...eek!

Tonight I went to a WW meeting with my mom and aunt. I'm doing the Flex plan eating whole foods - it's easier for me to keep track of doing WW.

Count me in.

My goal is to lose 20lbs by September. I'd like to start my senior year at a "normal" size. It's going to be pretty intense, since I dropped out in the beginning of last semester, and ideally, I'll be going back 75lbs lighter.

I would LOVE to lose 40lbs by Halloween, since it'll pretty much bring me to my final goal. It's crazy. :D I feel like I'll never get there, but I know it's going to happen. It's just a matter of time.

Welcome, Rhythm! I know what you mean. It'll happen, but it feels so far away, and sometimes doubt kicks in despite the fact that we're working hard.

I'm thinking of upping my goal for the challenge to 30lbs, but I'm afraid it'll be too ambitious of a goal.

Don't let your fears deter you from setting the bar higher. I'm sure with an extra push you can manage to lose 2 lbs/week. We'll be here to cheer you on. ;P

The absolute worst case scenario is that you don't quite meet your goal. Then what? Nothing. You keep going.

The only serious harm it could do is discourage you, but if you've made any progress, as I'm sure you will, you can take comfort in know you're still xx lbs lighter than you were 14 weeks ago.

What kind of plan are you on?

Right now, I'm not on any real plan, but I try to eat mostly whole foods. I want to try Eat to Live, but it might be a little too strict for me.

Since I have the added burden of my current medication to interfere with my weigh loss efforts :p - I have decided not to focus on a number. I am going to focus on eating well and exercise so that I will be fit and have regained my strength by October 31.

My goals are:

exercise 1 hour every day
keep a journal and count points
cook WW recipes each week

My reward = new belly dance outfit :belly:

i'm in, i'm not really sure what i want to weigh for oct but i have exercise goals.

1. To finally finish the 30 day shred by jilian michaels.

2. go to the gym at least 5x a week

3. get into a size 11!

Well, since Halloween is a favorite holiday of mine, I think it would make a great end to a challenge. I would like to lose 20 lbs during this challenge. Deal me in. :bubbles:

Ooh, I just thought of something! As a reward for reaching my goal, I'll be helping myself to a little bit of Halloween candy. :D I'm also going to dress up this year, since I won't have worry about finding a costume that fits. I'm thinking Snow White.

I looked into some online costume sites, and decided I'm SO gonna be a baseball player this year.

I'll have to get full leggings though, to cover my cellulite -- I don't think baseball players are supposed to be scary. ;P

OK, I'll bite. It will be good to have something to be accountable to. I'm just dipping my toes into my diet right now, making better choices and moving a bit... but this will help motivate me. My goal is a number, specifically the number 200. My goal is to be under 200lbs by Halloween.

Hey, since Halloween is the deadline, what if we all post end of challenge pics in costume? Shy chicks could wear masks- Just a thought. :)

therex - I love 30DS. I'm thinking about doing it again.

inkdiva - The picture idea is awesome. We don't all have to participate, but it would be awesome to see everyone in their costumes.

Rhythm - Great costume. I know what you mean about cellulite. I wish it would go away.

dcapulet - I like the pin up style too. That is a great costume.

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I don't think I'll buy a costume this year. I may just wear one I already have. A few years ago, I was a schoolgirl zombie (from the Japanese movie Stacy). I would love to fit into that costume again.

I have no luck either. I tend to attract the wrong type. Although my focusing on getting healthy made me realize that I don't have to have someone, at least not right now. I need to worry about me first.

My other goal is to continue consistently food journaling.

The scale this morning says I lost 5lbs. already, but I still don't believe it! I just started 3 days ago! :p Mostly I'm scared of two things - losing my motivation, and maintaining.

I know it's early, but I've been practicing. I'm weighing in at 221 for the last 3 days, so I think it's official. I'm down 4 lbs. I've been passing up the fast food, avoiding the icecream, and cutting down on the starch. And really, it was because I joined this challenge that I've been thinking about it before I eat. Here's an example: I got off of work, having eaten nothing from 2-8 and was starving. (I know, pack snacks, but sometimes life gets in the way of common sense, ya know?)

There is a dairy queen three blocks away from my shop and I have to pass it on the way to pick up my girls at daycare. I have visions of moolattes and burgers dancing in my head. Then, at a red light, I remember I'm going on this challenge. I change the vision to two grilled chicken wraps and a diet soda. I feel better on the drive home. :) I think for me it just comes down to making more of these good choices than bad.

Thanks inkdiva! I haven't been able to dance for the past year so I am determined to get back to class in the fall. I also want to join my teacher's dance troupe - they perform locally and at charity events around the city -they are a fun bunch of women to dance with.

Well I am happy to say that I have been lifting my hand weights and doing 30 minutes on my bike most days. On the off days I have been walking for about an hour. I have noticed that walking up steep hills is not as hard as it used to be - small change, but worth noting. :)

I am going to aquafit tomorrow.:swim:

Can I still play if I only weigh myself twice a month? I don't like weighing in more than that.

Here's my goal: I want to lose 20 lbs. by Halloween, bringing my total weight loss to 56 lbs. That sounds like a reasonable, attainable goal.

Hi everyone, I'd like to join the challenge! I guess I'd like to lose 10 kg by Halloween -- 22 lbs. Currently I am 161.8 so that would put me right in the 130s. I haven't been in the 130s in 6000 years so that would be magical.

My other goal is to run a 5k on October 30th. Originally I hoped to do a half marathon but I fell behind on my training so instead I'll do the 5k. You can wear costumes! I love Halloween. :)

5lbs is still awesome. I read somewhere that losing more than 4 or 5 lbs a week may be unhealthy, so you're doing great!

Today I asked a friend how much he thinks I weigh, just to make him squirm. I wouldn't normally ask people questions like that, but he's very honest, almost to a fault. His answer was 130 lbs. I giggled and told him his perception was off etc and he went on to say I'm no twig but I'm definitely not fat. So I told him I used to be 240 lbs and he was shocked.

He totally made my day.

Weird thing, thinking about this challenge is actually making me excited to welcome autumn when it comes. It's my favorite season!:carrot:

My goal is to get to 174 lbs. so I will be out of the obese category and into the overweight category.

My current weight is 195.3 as of Tuesday 7/27/10

SO overall that means I need to lose 21.3 lbs. by Halloween! Good luck to everyone else. :-)

I'd like to join in. So if we started on Monday, then my starting weight is 228. We have 14 weeks (minus one day), and I'd like to shoot for about 2lbs/week. Perfect! My next minigoal was to get back to ONEderland, and now I can do it as part of this challange!

I chat back and fourth with 2 others girls on another board an here and they suggested this challenge so here I am and I just read every post and am SUPER excited!! :D
I weigh more than you ladies but I wont let that stop me!

Tomorrow is my second weigh in since I started WW on the 16th :) I started at 313lbs and last week weighed in at 307. Tomorrow I hope I will be under 300 but if not I will be happy with any loss.

I tried to make a goal of losing 10lbs a month before my wedding next year so my goal for this will be to lose 10% of my 313 weight which is 31.3lbs and would bring me down to 281.7

WE CAN DO THIS LADIES!!!!! :carrot:

Well, after a short trip of mixing business and pleasure I'm pleased that I didn't gain any weight this week. Didn't lose any but didn't gain, so I'm happy, overall. Hope everyone else had a good week and welcome to the latecomers. :carrot:

Hi - it's been a while since I checked in. I made it down from a size 20 to 18 - I am looking onward to a 16, and hopefully a 14 to the costume.

I don't weigh in because I don't have a scale, but I find it's been much better this way for me.

I wonder if I can really make it from a 18 to a 14 in three months...

dcapulet - I think it's possible to make it to a 14 in 3 months. I was so excited yesterday when I was able to take my size 16 jeans off without unbuttoning them. It's the little things that make life awesome.

I weighed myself this morning and my weight jumped waaay up.

I have a date tonight, and this is all I'm going to be thinking about! ...And he's CUUUTE!! D:

I did exercise yesterday, more than usual, but I can't say that my muscles ached or anything. I had an awful stomach ache though. Could that have had anything to do with it?

TOM isn't due for another week or two.

Also, I have a favourite pair of jeans that make my bottom look pretty good IMO. Buuuut -- My thighs had to go and wear holes in them. I'm determined to repair this pair of jeans tonight. I've never sewn a thing in my life before but d@mmit I will learn!

I'm going to start from August 1th and then on. Here are what I hope to accomplish during this challenge:

1. Goto the gym 3x a week and do the 30-minute express circuit and elliptical or walk a mile on days I don't go.
2. Eat 1500-1800 calories / calorie shifting
3. Drink 64oz of water a day and eliminate diet soda!

I want to be at 190 for this challenge!

On 8/1 I was 216.3lbs!

hey sorry i was AWOL these past few days. I was pretty bad last weekend, and shot up to 160 :-/ Then I weighed in this morning and I'm 158.8 Hoorah!

I just took up jogging, for the first time in five years. I went on sunday, ran/walked for around 50 minutes, and LOVED it. My muscles are still aching, but I felt so alive! It's hard, because between my son and night-classes, it feels like I never have time to go for a jog (I know, I know... excuses, excuses. :-P ) But have worked out that I will go every sunday, thursday and friday afternoon. Is it crazy that I cannot wait for this thursday's jog?

I can totally relate to your post Rhythm, about the pants thing... many a good pair of pants of mine have fallen victim to those thigh-holes >:(

So my date didn't go so well last night. He got drunk and passed out. Typical. Next time, we're going to a movie.

I ended up hanging out with my sister for the remainder of the night. We went out and got Subway. Then I had a huge slice of cake. Not good, Rhythm, not good... But on the bright side, maybe this will kick up my metabolism again? It's been a long time since I've ate that much.

Btw, about the jeans, there are these awesome 'denim' patches that you can iron onto the inside of your pants when they're wearing thin. I did a crappy sew job so I ironed those suckers on, and they're as good as new. I feel like such a handyman now. ;P

Oops, got busy and missed weigh in. Not that I haven't been weighing myself, but just didn't get on the computer to record. It's been a little iffy, super stressed and finally cleared my storage unit completely out. Was really like a time capsule, found my wedding pics where I was at my highest weight, double chin in every and I do mean EVERY picture. At the time, I didn't see it. Selective eyesight maybe?

Got my weight ticker! Yay! I've been up and down, so I'd be happy to maintain current loss for next week. Fair is in town and I get my yearly treats. Christmas is the only time I allow myself to eat fudge (or I'd need to lose a lot more than 70 lbs.), and every fair = cotton candy and footlong corndog. I do share with my kiddos, so that helps, and I'll eat super healthy the rest of the day to offset it.

Happy to see all the progress, and happy to have this thread, it really does make me think twice before I cheat, I mean eat. ;)

I'm totally behind on plan, I actually literally stopped counting calories and even watching what I eat for the past month. I have not gained, but I'm maintaining between 177-174. For about 3 months now. I need to start losing again!

So I want to REALLY go back on plan and stick to my calorie budget, and lose some weight before my birthday (Nov 17). But I wanna be able to wear a hot costume for Halloween! I wanna lose 20 pounds which I think is reasonable. My friend is a makeup artist and if I can lose that 20 lbs by then she will transform me into Medusa for Halloween with a full body paint of scales and stuff!! But it requires me wearing next to nothing, so I need to lose the weight. That's my goal, for Halloween 2010.

HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE PEOPLE! :P

Well, ladies, this is my mid-week checkin. I hope everyone is having a good diet week. I realized today that I'm only 3 lbs away from the 250s. I haven't been in this range since 1999! At the rate I'm going, it will take the month of August to get there but I'm really pumped! So I guess I have a mini goal. I really like having this challenge - it's keeping me motivated, for sure. :dancer:

Hi everyone.. didn't have a great day today..
I came home so warn out from work that I hardly had the energy to make me something to eat. It was healthy veggies...eaten though with not so healthy wheat tortillas.
went to bed, woke up for a nice thunderstorm. ^.^ My veggie and bean soup is nice and ready for me to take to work for lunch all week...it helps me to stay on plan. a bowl of cereal (with almond milk) and shimp wonton (5wontons) soup for my before work meal...yeah I eat strange combinations. Now I have 10 miniutes before I have to get back to work all over again. I can feel that this week is going to be a tough one.

I'm sorry you had a rough day, Sakai, but I commend you for staying on plan! It's not easy to stick with it when you feel worn down, but you did! Grats!!:carrot:

I love eating unexpected things myself. Since I work nights, my typical breakfast is usually a breakfast shake and a side of something dinner-y. Small portion, of course, just enough to let me feel satisfied that I ate. I'm going through a lettuce wrap phase, as I LOVE romaine lettuce, and I love how the huge leaves can be made into a healthy meal. My favorite is spreading them with red pepper hummus that I make myself, then some plain tuna. Just wrap and go! Throw in a side of triscuits, and I have a very satisfying lunch on my hands!

I think eating what you find delicious and healthy is the key to staying on track. No one likes cardboard, after all, lol!:D

Duckchick, those lettuce wraps sound good! I'm going to have to try them. I am finding that for me, the working out has been easier than staying on plan. I do pretty well during the day and at work, but am more unmotivated to make something when I get home. I need to just get over it, find some recipes that work, and stick to plan. I guess it's good that at work has been easier, as that's where more temptations lie. I manage a coffee shop and am confronted with a case full of delicious pastries on a daily basis, but haven't even wanted one lately. Small victories, inches and miles.

Poppin' in ladiesssss. Everything is going good. Tomorrow we're having a Dinner Party and I'm making some healthy dishes, hehe, and no one will know the difference. I'm making chicken parmesan, baked ziti, cheesecake and a chocolate raspberry layer cake. All calorie & Weight Watcher friendly (my friend is doing weight watchers). My friend is making roasted potatoes and a vegetable. I can't wait! We're going to make "healthier" drinks as well. I have a nice Mojito recipe.

i got really sick after my first zumba class so i didn't visit 3fc

anyways, i haven't worked out for a week and i feel really stupid about it but i just couldn't. but, i'm glad i didn't gain any weight, my weight is the same. can't wait to start riding the stationary bike again. i might actually do it now.

Last week on the weight in for 7/30 i gained .8 grrrrr think it might have been from the sodium in crystal light and my one glass of fresca nightly, changed that and my weight in from yesterday I was down 3.4 lbs!
Today will be my first day working out since I started WW, very excited and know it will move my weight loss more!!! whooo hooo

PS I got my ticker's ! SWEEEEET!!!! lol I know corny but I was so excited to get them

Guess what!
So I posted in the 20-somethings about being so tired I can't work out after my job, and how working out Before work would be better...Okay so I did a day of calorie counting (because I haven't in a long time. And a average day of eating gives me hardly 1000 calories @.@ Time to revamp the the diet methinks. No wonder I'm so tired and stuck in the 230's for the past 4 months. (I went mostly vegetarian/whole foods back in Feb and that must of really cut my calories) My carbs are over 160..not sure if that's good or bad, being that I never really followed a low carb diet..fat is under 12.
AND
I only drink about 65oz of water...way less than I use to. @.@

I know I promised to actually post my weight here and really take part instead of half heartedly, but meh, I've been ignoring my 'plan' and everything to stay healthy really. I've overhauled my thinking and now need to overhaul my lifestyle again.

Having just counted the weeks until Samhain, I've realised I can still meet my 10kg/22lbs goal if I manage -2lbs a week, so I'm going for it. ALL OUT!

As of yesterday I was 182lbs, so I'm aiming for 160lbs (and will have my digital scale in Italy as of Thursday so will have easy to read results and in LBS! YAY!)

Hey kaygee41, thank you! I try to find food and drinks that will be delicious, though that's not always easy. I found the red pepper hummus recipe on allrecipes.com, and it was one of several! Robot, I know! It's my favorite hummus, and I never thought I would eat hummus at all since I hate plain hummus! I have alot of ideas in my head now on how to vary the flavor and come up with new flavors. Experiment in the kitchen time!! :D

Okay. I am out until tomorrow. I weighed myself last night and weighed 15 pounds more. Than stepped on it this morning and I weighed 80 pounds more than 20 pounds less than I started. Unless I am on super diet, I think I need a new scale. I will get one tomorrow and tell you my weight.

I just posted my results for last week, couple days late. No change on the scale this week, a little disappointed. I think it may be because I have gotten a bit of track the last couple of days as my allergies have been so bad that it has been difficult to work out. Trying to keep my food on track to counter act the lack of exercise. A small NSV, though, I needed to get a couple pair of new jeans, and I was able to get the next size down! :)

Majestic - A few years ago, I found out my scale was off by 10 lbs. I was so upset when I realized that I weighed 10 lbs more than I thought. Hang in there, you'll start liking the numbers as you progress.

FYI, I had to adjust my ticker as I was going from my overall weight-loss numbers over the summer and not just the challenge ones, so sorry if it looked like I was fudging my numbers (mmmm, fudge!) I have two tickers going and my brain ain't set up to handle so much math, simple as it is. :dizzy:

I didn't make any progress this week because I went to the fair, and as predicted ate a few things that aren't going to be found on any diet menu, then didn't go shopping for fresh foods and ordered out three nights in a row, so I'll settle for maintaining.

I'm kinda feeling a little stuck this week. I have been sticking to plan but I just can't break the 249 mark. I though for sure I would have done it today figuring yesterday I weight 250.2 but today after eating perfectly to diet. I weigh 251.0 :mad:. I'm going to try adding some workouts and maybe that will get the numbers moving. Looks like I'm really going to have to fight to get my 2.5lbs lost this week.

I can't believe another week is almost over. I doubt I'll be in onderland this weigh in, since I didn't exercise at all this week. My eating has been all right, but not great. Just been a little down this week (stupid boy troubles...bleh).

Well even tho it is already August since i'm new I def want in on this. i don't have a number of lbs i want to lose but I would love love lovee to fit back into my size 10s by then and have quit smoking by that time! So here we go back into a size 10 by Halloween and to offically say I'm a non smoker!!

going home brings up tons of new stuff, including the use of the scale. I haven't used on yet - should I start? I don't want to be a slave to the damn thing, but it may be helpful...

I think as long as you don't get too obsessed with weighing yourself, then it'll definitely be helpful.

I love my scale I weight myself every morning keeps me on track and motivated but it is addictive and I find can sometimes make or break my day

well down 1.5 only 25.1lbs til my halloween goal :)

I am down 3 pounds from my new original weight. (242 pounds currently) Does that make sense? That makes me happy. I plan to start running soon too which helped me last summer. (My third grade is joining a running club where at the end she runs a 5K. It'll be a cold day when my third grader runs more than me...motivation to be the mom who keeps up!)

So, weighed in, and I am at 174.5! 2.5 lost from last week! Now, the challenge is that I leave in the morning for a week's vacation back in Colorado. I am only slightly worried about food, I talked to my mom (who I'll be with a bunch of the time) about my nutrition goals/plan and she is on board to help and support me. I am worried about getting my runs and workouts in though. Not that I am not planning on making time, but my parents live at quite high an elevation and I am concerned about being able to breath in that thin air.

Great week for me, I'm down to 154 (it's my TOM, how'd I do that?) ... so it'll be about 12 lbs before I'm a "normal" BMI... Can't wait!

Gained .4 :shrug: It was a ruff week. I think if I'm honest will myself I was eating very healthy but, I was having a little bigger portions then I should have had. I had myself a cheat day today my first one in a month and I enjoyed it. Then I reassessed what I need to do and why I need to do it. Next week I'm going to fight the scale!:jig:

Well, it's been a rush rush week and I finally broke down and had a serving of garlic mashed potatos today. They were the first mashed potatos I've eaten in months and months and they were soooooo good! Back on the horse tomorrow for me, though. Don't want to undo all that I've done.

Well ladies you know I weigh in on Friday and today I was down 3.4 lbs!!! I can start doing my Wii Fit again and I am forever out of the 300+ club!!!!! HIGH FIVE!!!! I am soooo excited and this week I ate at Busch Gardens, Publix and Five Guys, talk about control and still lose it, I need like 19 more lbs before Halloween and have already lost almost 14 lbs in 5 weeks!!! God is Good :) Good Luck everyone!!

Had a business lunch today at a 4-star restaurant that had a $20.10 prix fixe lunch that includes an app, entree, and dessert. I opted to order of the regular menu and skip dessert. Yay me. :)

Hi you gorgeous chicks!

I went shopping for a laptop yesterday and was in and out of many stores all day long. Me and DH were starving (had pineapple at 7:00am and by then it was 2:00) and since we both love the Olive Garden, that Italian restaurant chain, and hadn't been there since last December, we decided to have lunch there. I had the lunch portion of spagetti and meatballs and salad. I ate half of the spagetti b/c I filled up on two plates of salad. I should've stuck with the spagetti b/c the salad (with dressing) has 26 fat grams and 350 calories! Yikes, that's more than half of my alloted daily fat gram intake. :eating2:

The pasta dish was 40 fat grams and 820 calories for a lunch portion, of which I only ate half. And the sodium was off the charts, girls! :eek:

I guess the moral of this story is that we won't be visiting O.G. until Christmas rolls around again, for I have no willpower and will order the spagetti and meatballs every time I go. But I really enjoyed the meal and it was a treat to have pasta and meat sauce, for a change, so no regrets.

Still making progress! Going out to eat with friends today. I think they have a really good spinach / grilled chicken salad where we're going. At any rate, I am determined to make a healthy choice. DH will be there & he's very supportive. I am blessed.

I was at 174.0 this morning. Yesterday I had some BBQ with my family, so I kind of expected a gain. Back on track today and looking forward to downward movement on the scale tomorrow.

ghost girl - Thank you! :) I started this weight loss journey in March 2009. I started off changing my diet; counting calories which I keep between 1200-1500. I always try to go for low fat/low carb options. I've lately been following Sparkpeople's nutrition guide as far as Fat/Carb/Protein go. Then I slowly worked in exercise, starting with pilates, then 30day shred and now P90X. I LOVE P90X because I can go at my own pace with it, but at the same time I'm still challenging myself. This is actually my last week starting today; I'm going to be doing the lean version next.

Hi ladies! So I'm back from vacation from last week and weighed in today. I had no loss this week, still at 174.5, but SO happy I didn't gain any on vacation! Especially since I had a little bad luck on vacation. I brought my running shoes with me to be able to get a little exercise while I was there. I had rented a car the first part of the week, and the day I returned it I got a BIG speeding ticket just before I got to the rental place. I was so flustered that I forgot my shoes in the back seat. They were really new, had just worn them about 6 times. Of course, I call the rental place to see if they found them early the next day, and they are nowhere to be found. Boo. So I tried really hard the rest of the week to stay on track food wise. I did get a little exercise in jumping on the trampoline with my neice. I had forgotton how much fun that can be. Now trying to get back on a normal routine after all that.

irishfairy - Aww thank you! I do have some loose skin around my stomach (lower abdomen), not too much, but enough to annoy me...lol. I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't get much worse considering I have 30lbs to lose till my goal. I have a flat-ish tummy at the moment, so I'm hoping the rest of this weight comes off my thighs/arms/back. Only time will tell though I guess. I am though considering having it removed though if it doesn't improve.

I weighed in at 168.8 this morning! And I am still shocked its continuing to drop. The only thing I've done differently this past week is that I stopped eating after 9pm. Its been SO hard, but its worth it!

Hello...I am new here and I know I am late to the challenge but is it possible to still join?

I would like to be at 170 by Halloween as of today I am at 191 lbs. That means I want to lose 21 lbs by Halloween! I have a costume I picked up the other day and I think it will fit if I lose 20lbs!

Hope it's not to late this seems like a great way to keep myself motivated and heading in the right direction!!
