I just started MRC on Wednesday. I was told to do preconditioning until Monday. I am following the preconditioning, drinking plenty of water, and exercising. In addition, I am taking all of the recommended supplements. I am SO hungry I don't know if I can do this. I can't live hungry all of the time. Do you always feel hungry on this diet?

I was hungry for the first 2 or 3 days. After that, I wasn't hungry at all. So, that feeling should definitely go away. Make sure you drink A LOT of water, that truly helps with the hunger. I found that by the time pre-conditioning was over and I got the first menu.. I was NOT hungry. So hang in there!! :)

I haven't been hungry since pre-conditioning :)

yes, it's totally normal. And you won't die! I remind myself that what I am eating is PLENTY for my body. The hunger is just my body saying it wants what it's USED TO, not what it NEEDS. Your appetite will shrink, although I am comfortable with a bit of hunger, now. When you start the menu and drink your HNS's, that will help as well. Don't forget, being hungry is hard, but being fat is HARDER.

Congratulations for starting the program! I know I was ravenously hungry while on preconditioning but after starting the first menu that feeling went away and now I find it hard to even finish my meals sometimes :) So stick with it- I haven't ever felt as good as I feel right now!

If I recall, I'm pretty sure you can snack on almonds during preconditioning. Pick up some raw almonds and snack on a handful when you feel hungry. Once you go on the actual plan, you'll be drinking the HNS, which have 15 g of protien - you have them 4x / day (or I do anyways), and they keep you feeling full, especially in combination w/the water intake. You can do it!

I'm brand new here. I started preconditioning 7/7 a week ago. I will go to my food class on Friday. Anxious to see what I can/cant have and how I like the protein replacements.... I'm so confused now what to eat, what sauces to put on things... etc! I'm glad I found this place for support though!
