Default Please tell me my feet will get smaller!

I got so depressed when I was cleaning my closet, and had found my beautiful Louboutin's that no longer fit cause my feet are so fat!

I am a terrible shoe addict and since my weight has continued up and up all I buy is sneakers.

You have Louboutin's!?! I am so jealous! I have a total shoe fetish and would love to own a pair of designers.

As I understand it, when you're carrying excess weight it causes your feet to spread, so when you lose weight, there's less gravity and force on them, so they get "smaller." I've only lost 16# so far and already my shoes feel different.

Good luck getting into those Louboutin's!

I've gone from a 6 1/2 - 7 to a 4 1/2 - 5. It happens with a lot of people that lose any significant amount of weight. So, yes, your feet will probably get smaller. Yay shoes!

Absolutely!! At my high weight, I had tons of cute little heels that wouldn't fit anymore. I've lost close to 50 lbs. now and my shoes feel much looser, and I can fit into all my heels again! When you lose weight- your whole body loses, including your feet!

Use those shoes as motivation to reach your goals! :-)

I went from a 10 to a 9 so not much difference there but my foot isn't a W anymore!

I used to be an 8.5W to a 9W depending on the shoe now I am an 8M to 8.5M (the 8.5 is in skechers shapeups and I know they run small), and that's only with 25 (or so) pounds lost.

The things I learn on this site! I first learned here that it was the additional weight that made high heels hurt (duh! I really hadn't put the two things together). Now I know that when I do go buy some new heels that I better have the size of my feet checked.

I went from an 8.5 to an 8! In a way, it sucked - I had to replace every article of clothing I owned, except for socks

I gave myself the Louboutins for my 30th birthday and I wore them with a beautiful Michael Kors dress that will not even go up my legs now. Mind you I was size 16 for my 30th. I suddenly really wanna get back in to my shoes, I saved for months to get them.

Since your feet have been smaller, yes I could see you fitting back into some fabulous shoes sitting in your closet.

However, not everybody's feet shrink. My feet have been a narrow size 10 when I'm 280 lbs or when I'm 150 lbs.

So, I don't want everyones hopes to get up. I still purchase skis for my feet regardless of my body size. ;>

When I was thin, I wore an 8.5-9. I am now a 10. I hope I get back to a 9!

I hope they do!! I have a closet full of heels that I used to wear. Now when I look at heels my feet start hurting. I am a shoe freak, but I usually buy mine at Payless. lol

My SIZE has only gone down to 7 from 8... but my width has gone WAY done and my feet are SO skinny. Like can see all the bones skinny. I can tell if I've had too much sodium if I can't see my bones lol!

I can't wait for my feet to start losing! At a normal weight, I'm anywhere from an 8 to a 9. I currently have a few 9.5's and a couple of 10's.

Like caryesings mentioned, I also am looking forward to wearing heels without my entire body screaming because of my weight! I'll have to start saving for my own pair of Louboutins
