I personally try to eat 3 meals a day with a few snacks (fruit or fruit related things, or veggie things) in between and in the evening... but I might need to switch to multiple meals a day... I really need to get my calorie count UP... so I won't end up mindlessly binging or crashing (and binging... they go hand in hand for me) because I'm running on very little energy. >.<

First of all, welcome to 3FC's Calorie Counters!

I eat Breakfast, then about 2-3 hours later a snack (like yogurt or an apple and string cheese or almonds) then lunch, then 2-3 hours another snack then supper.

I am never hungry. I've learned that if I let myself get hungry I get ravenous and it's harder to make smart choices.

Plan ahead. If you're going to be out and about, pack some snacks. Keep some nuts in your car. I buy the big cans of almonds at WalMart and pre-pack my 100 calorie packs (17 almonds) in little snack baggies.

Welcome! I'm trying to eat just three meals a day. As a recovering bordom/emotional eater, I felt that many snacks/small meals throughout the day kept me focused on food, I felt I was always eating, which led to 'what's one more snack', so the next thing I knew I was mindlessly eating over my cals {1600-1800}. I haven't been doing the three meals for very long, less than a month, but it seems to be working for me; keeping my mind off of food, allowing me to focus on other things.

For me, what works is 6 small meals a day. I think you should try different methods out and figure out what works best for you and your lifestyle. Good luck
