I was n Loestrin Fe for 11 months and then stopped around march because of the depression/anxiety it was causing me. Well now my hair is fallin out rapidly. Its generally all over not in patches. I read online stopping b/c can cause this. I read loesterin is a high androgen pill and while Ive never had my hormones tested I think I may have high male hormones due to the facial hair I have. Has anyone had a similar issue and did your hair grow back? I have a drs appt June 22 and am hopefully getting a referral for blood work from my gyno tomorrow.

I don't know much about this, but when I'm pregnant, my hair grows really thick because of the pregnancy hormones (and nails really strong and long), then about 3-4 months after baby is born, the pregnancy hormones go away, and my hair starts falling out in clumps ALL over the place, and my nails break constantly no matter how gently I treat them. I think it's definitely a hormone thing. Good thing you have an appt soon!! Hope this gets resolved.

I don't know about the hair loss but I read that Yasmin is the best for PCOS due to the androgen hormone issue
