I used to believe that the only way I myself would have the motivation to lose weight and get healthy was to rely on someone else. I would do it with my little brother, my family, my friends... and one of us would end up flaking out by the end of the week.
Either we just couldn't get up the nerve to actually go running or we really had no idea what we were doing, or never told our superiors what we were doing and ended up eating a bunch of crap that we THOUGHT was good for us. (that's what we got for thinking...
)
I now realize that while I can encourage them... in the end... I have to just get out there and do it. If they choose to join me... great. If not... too bad. They'll just have to catch up later, or deal with their lot in life. We can't let others bring us down with them.
