As of today, at 254 lbs, I am 1/3 of the way to my goal weight! I'm very excited about this little milestone, and can't wait to hit the half way mark soon, then 2/3 of the way before taking it all the way home!!
If you're just getting started, or reading this and thinking the task is just too big of an undertaking; it's not! You can do it! I started out at almost 300 lbs, and I feel a million times better after losing only 40 lbs. I have so much more energy, I look better, I feel better physically.
Over the last few months my mind-set has changed and I know that this time, I can keep it off for good with work and *most importantly* never falling back into the denial rut! As long as I pay attention to what my body is doing, I know I can do this for life!
Thanks for reading, and for all the support so far
ETA- I also wanted to add about my mentality of this journey so far. I broke it up into 3 parts, instead of 2 or 4 or 10 because I remember being different weights and how the made
me feel. The first chunk (that I just finished YAY!) was what I *in my mind lol* referred to as my "cut the fat" phase. Just going from feeling awful and f.a.t all the time in my body to a more comfortable place. This next phase is the "big changes" phase where I am excited to go from where I am now to a more comfortable and manageable (on my 5'2 frame) 212/3-ish range. The last stretch is (don't laugh) my "dream phase" where I feel "normal", hit ONEDERLAND and then slide on to goal.
ooooh exciting stuff!
