Question Is it the same?

I was just wondering. I am doing weight watchers here in the UK - online.

Is weight watchers in the US based on the same points system, calculations etc?

here its calculated on cals/100g and satfat/100g.

I have a weightwatchers calculator on my iPhone and it seems to differentiate between UK/Europe and US. I thought the points program was the same the world over.

It could affect the points in recipes from US sites for us in the UK.

Thanks

The WW points in the US are based on Calories, grams of fat, and grams of fiber. So it doesn't sound like they are the same.
