UK Fat Chicks - What do you want for Christmas Little Girl!

I know it is still 3 months away, but I was thinking today that if I put my mind to it, a stone and a half could be gone by Christmas easy and that is the best present :gift: I could possibly get this year.:genie:
Problem is Ray does all his shopping on Christmas Eve and don't think he'll be able to buy that one in the shops in the last minute rush.:flow1:
So if I start working towards my own 'present' :gift: now I can make it happen instead of getting smellies from Boots as usual.:flow1:
Not sure that makes any sense, but I know where I am coming from:grouphug:

I want to be a size 14 for Christmas , it is 'do-able' if i keep on track. I can't think of a better present than that, well I can but I know I won't get it (ha ha ).
It isn't that far away lets see what we can achieve.

I'm sure you can do it Carol :D You have the will power and you sound so positive.
Just take it one day at a time and I have all the faith in the world that you'll get where you want to be come Christmas time.
Now bear with me cos my maths are crap, but if you lose a steady two pounds a week from now until Christmas, you would actually lose 42 pounds cos there are 21 weeks left until Christmas by my calendar.
So I say, GO FOR IT LUV....I THINK I'LL JOIN YA!
:spin: :yikes: Let's go for the 21 pounds by then and if we do more than that, well..we'll just have to say how fabulous we are!:smug:
Have a great day....
Chris.

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new here, but would love to join you with your slim a stone for santa! Is it really only 13 weeks?! Oh no, that means Nativity play rehersals must start soon...!
25.09.02 weight 211 lbs
Goal for Christmas 197 lbs or less!
Charley :)
I just sort of challenged the other side of the pond to race us to a lighter Christmas!
I posted a "Shed a Stone..." thread and invited them to join in. So the challenge is on, we are racing....
Lost a whole pound this week. But I expect it is because I weighed myself after a class and after I drink my water I'll get it back! I'll re-weigh myself after breakfast for a truer result.

Am down 5lbs for santa. Am hoping to reach that first half stone this week.
Was reading my original post and I wanted to be down a stone and a half - still leaves me 16lbs to go in 7 weeks, will settle for a stone - it will be a delight to be below 15 and a half stone.
Smiling Sal
11-29-2002, 06:21 PM
Just thought I would bring this one back to the top. I am still 5 pounds away, exactly the same position I was in at the beginning of November. Not a good weight losing month for me, I have been up and down a couple of pounds all month - December will be very different, in the right way.
By the last weigh before Christmas I am going to type that I have made my stone, it is still very doable, if I concentrate

11-30-2002, 05:40 AM
Well i certainly aint gonna be a size 14!! But 14 stone something is quite do-able..even if it only lasts until about 10 am on xmas day ......:(
We will all get there, eventually i just hope it is only the goose that is getting fat(ter) this Xmas at our house!! EEEK!
Smiling Sal
12-08-2002, 02:42 AM
Am only one pound away from reaching my stone goal for Christmas.
Don't think I will be losing it this week, but maybe next.
I have lost exactly 1lb - ONE POUND - in the last few weeks!! Santa can go whistle!!
But my l'il sis will be getting some new clothes in the New Year! I am getting ever closer to a size 16. My skirts and trousers are slowly sliding towards the floor. My tops aren't getting any looser though. As I have big boobs and a broad back that will take a miracle I think!
So forget the scales, I am sticking to the trusty tape measure. It seems to work for me!
Stef:?: :D

Didn't make the stone - was nearly there last week when I weighed in with a loss of 13lbs. But after a week of serious eating I'm back to a 9.5lbs loss - better than a 9.5lb gain
But I have dropped a generous dress size. Am now offically a size 20 and just need to stay there over the holidays
