My goal for the 4th of July challenge is to be 255, which is still another 14 lbs. I'd like to think I can do that, but as long as I'm moving in the right direction on the scale I'm not going to complain (or so I say now! )
1: 269 (out of the 270s as of this am! down 2 over Memorial Day weekend)
2: 268.8
3: 270.0 (uh, wtf? damn you, salt!)
4: 269.8 (no idea what's going on)
5: 271 (dude, seriously? finally figured out it's my trusty PMS water retention, so i can look forward to about 3 more lbs up before the downward whoosh. it's awesome being a girl.)
6: 270

Shylah - TOM weight is definitely a false read I think, because that'll all whoosh away in no time!
FitGirly - lack of sleep will do funny things to the body, I know mine retains water if I don't get a good nights sleep. Get a good nights sleep tonight and it'll be gone
penguin - it's nice to see that you are still firmly in those teen's, I don't think you'll see the 220's again!
eclipse - down is good!
As for me - down 2.4 this morning. I am enjoying this whoosh, hope it continues, and takes me into the 250's!

My goal for the 4th of July Challenge is 236. So as of today I have 16 to go. It is TOM and I might have a whoosh afterward so that might help, otherwise I don't think I will make my goal.

Diana- My LO is doing much better. Thankfully it was just a 24 hour bug and passed pretty quickly. He's speeding through the dining room on his big wheel right now! LOL
SwimGirl- Wooooooooooosh! Awesome! Send that woosh fairy over here!
I'm stuck. I remember doing this at 263.x, too. Seemed like I'd never get past it, and then just sped through the next few lbs to 256.x- and here I am again. Last time I dropped my cals to 1300, this time... idk what to do? Bump back up? I'm so confused by my body right now. So- I'm just sitting here, in 256.4 land. Again.

I managed almost four pounds in May, which isn't bad when you break it down to basically 1 pound per week. That's considered a good weight loss, right? LOL! But four just sounds so pathetic.
BUT, my weight has been high this past week with no good reason, and I think a whoosh is coming. I dropped a pound over night into this morning. Then I went to the gym, worked out for three hours, went to the bathroom (LOL!) and dropped another two pounds after coming home from the gym! Now, I'm not saying I count that...but considering I drank 66 ounces of water at the gym, I'm fairly confident I replaced at least most of the water I lost.

Ahh! Hey chickies! I actually looked for the old thread then I realized it's June 1st!!!
I was actually quite busy this weekend... Went back up into the 228s, got mad at my scale, but this morning I was down to 227.8 so only .2 above ticker. I better stay down. Even though I was stuck in 228s for what seemed like forever, I did lose about 7lbs. What a relief.

I don't usually post my daily weigh-ins...it's an interesting phenomenon. Also, I won't be able to post for a week or so while I'm on travel. It'll be the longest I've gone without weighing in 6 months. Goal for this month is 194.
May 31: 204.0
1: 204.8 Small bounce up. Good strength and cardio workout, ate lightly and including all my vegetables
2: 205.2 Bouncy-bounce again
3: 205.2
4: 205.2 Argh. Do have some muscle soreness from major workout yesterday.

My son has croup. I didn't realize kids even got that when they were older (he'll be 6 next month) but I thought that was what it was and they confirmed it today. Last night was tough, he had trouble breathing and didn't sleep much, so of course, neither did I. He got a steroid treatment this morning, and seems to be breathing a lot better and is still sleeping (from pretty much the minute we got home from the doctor!).
Thanks for asking, Diana!!
Not that I would have counted this morning for much so I never bothered to WI at all. Still thinking of just working on the 30 days on plan challenge and ignoring the scale for the month. Well, I will WI on 6/21 to see where I am for the Summer Onederland Challenge and hope that I'm well into the teens at that point. I will probably still check in here too though, to see how you all are doing, and I expect that if I can just get over this hurdle of getting into the teens, I'll be back to daily WIs. At least until I am approaching Onederland - I've been thinking for a long time that I might take a scale break at that point, for similar reasons as this. Getting too focused on a specific number seems to be counterproductive for me. I do ok for just general weight loss, but these milestone numbers are different.
