Enjoy Memorial Day today.

Vickie, I can say that I am just about in the same place. I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and as much as I wanted over the last two days. I was not so interested in chips, ice cream or sweets as I have been. I will say this though, good chocolate is still a big draw!

Hi Gals:)

Had a busy day went to the memorial service and than to NOB HILL a part of my town that I never saw before. Got home around 7 PM.

Weigh-in today and I'm down to 167.5 so now I'm back to the pre Thanksgiving weight. Going for another 4 lbs for the month of June.

Have a great evening I'll see you in the morning.

That's right, Vickie!

Congratulations, Mary Ann...good for you. :woohoo:

I'm not even going to get on the scales for a week! But, it was fun, that's for sure. I'm pleased that, so far, it hasn't been too hard to stop the indulgences.

I didn't do much for Memorial Day itself except to make contact with some high school friends about one of our classmates who was killed in Vietnam. I asked to join me in making a commitment that we will make certain that he and others from our high school who died in service are remembered formally. We're going to make it happen.

I hope you all have a good night.

Yay, big NSV for me...had a Memorial Day party here at our house, and I stayed within my daily points! What I did was decide ahead of time what I was going to eat, and logged it on WW e-tools BEFORE I ate, so in my mind it was already chosen. :) I also made sure we had tons of scrumptious fruit for me to pick from. I also didn't even let one bit of stuff I hadn't logged pass my lips, because once I start, it's hard to stop. I also spent some time upstairs away from the party with baby boy, reading, to relax.

I am proud of me. My birthday is this Wednesday, and I am already planning how that will all work out. I got an angel food cake for me that I will top with FF cool whip and strawberries. Yum!

Have a great night!

Good Morning Ladies:)

Can you believe that its JUNE!!! 1/2 the year is gone. Going our with my friend Alice this afternoon to get our senior passes from the steamship authority to take a trip to Martha's vineyard this summer,we also going to get beach stickers so we can bring & park our cars while we are walking along the beach.Decided that this year we are going into bathing suits and enjoy the beaches, either sunning ourselves or swimming.

Can't believe that we had so much smoke in on the cape thought something was burning somewhere but we didn't know what. This morning we heard that it was a big fire from Quebec, that the jet stream winds brought down to southern New England. they say it going to hang around for one more day and than blow out to sea.

RHONDA-Thanks for the new pages, and for the congrats, hope it continues.

VICKIE-Hope you had a good W-I,if not you know,it not the end of the world just exercise more.

ANGELA-Sounds like you have everything under control. Now going to be here on Wed as I going to Providence RI with the seniors to see a show called the Jersey Boys. So I going to wish you a very :woo::hb:Happy Birthday:hb::woo:

Have to go and get ready for this morning chores.

Angela, :wohoo: on making good choices and especially for being prepared for your birthday.

Good for you, Angela.

I went back to NS after breakfast, and breakfast was very modest. Now, to get back to the gym to lift weights. Torture Todd is on a vacation so I've got to get there myself and do some heavy lifting. But, I'll be cautious since he's not there to spot me on the difficult ones.

The reunion was a great success but really tiring. I took a 2 hour nap for the third day in a row!

I hope you're all having a good evening.

Nothing new to report.Except I'm going on a senior trip to Providence RI this morning to see Jersey Boys and than to a restaurant for dinner. Will be back around 5 PM.

Good Morning Chicks! I've been SO busy. Now I'm quite tired. Perhaps Rhonda and I will schedule a nap this afternoon.

Angela, you did GREAT! That was a wonderful loss for your first week considering you had already been eating better and smaller portions. I'm very proud of you.

Now the rest of us need to ease back on program. Rhonda is already there and I'm close. Today will be all on program. Our pool will be opened today in between thunder storms. A horrible storm went through here (so we hear) around midnight last night but we all slept through it....even wee Brodie.

I'm going to eat breakfast and shower so I can take my little man for a walk and get some exercise for me. It's hard to believe that it is Wednesday already.

Have a great and safe trip, Mary Ann.

I will be sorta glad to have all the graduation activities behind us and then enjoy a lazy summer...

I am gaining a few pounds because I always cook my kid's favorites when they are home.
I don't really care...I will get back on track soon..
Last night I got the best cooking compliment ever..
3 teenage boys (son's friends) all wanted my chicken casserole

Good Morning Ladies:)

Had a wonderful time with the senior group, the play[Jersey Boys] and music brought every one on their feet. They had 14 buses there each from another group. We ate at the Davenport Restaurant I had chicken parm with salad held the pasta but went for the choc cake. Didn't get home until 7PM.

This morning I have to wait for the cable guy to adjust my TV. I Have no low channels only the HD is coming on. They were here over the weekend in Units C & D and they messed up my lines in A,surprising that Unit B cable is working.

Very foggy up here can't see a thing that isn't closer than 10 feet. They say it s going to burn off some time this afternoon.

VICKIE-We had a wonderful time, one of the senior group asked me to join into their quilting club I told them that I don't sew,the remark was we don't mind just come for conversation.Having a very low carb eating day to make up for the chocolate cake.

RHONDAOne of the woman on the bus told me that the her daughter saw the original group playing on stage. Forgot the story about this group, but the music brought all kinds of reaction to the seniors from standing on their feet to clapping to the beat of the music. Really enjoyed that day out.

NANCY-Saying prayers for your Robin, hope the surgery is a major success.Happy Birthday,so you a June baby also mine is June 22, a day before my mom's.

SLOAN-OH!!I'm so sorry, of cause prayers are going out your way and your family.:hug:Hang in there and take care of your self also.

Keeping your dad at the top of my prayers!!!

I am a bit worried tonight because I found a walnut sized lump under the skin in my upper arm on the under side.. It is firm, sore and doesn't seem attached.
I can't believe it is this big and I didn't notice it til now.
Robin wants me to have it checked tomorrow but with graduation I think I would prefer to wait til Monday.

I went shopping tonight for a dress for graduation and finally found a great dress. It is black with big hot pink flowers on it..I got a pink lightweight sweater to wear over it. I really love it..We have budgeted so much that it was a treat to go buy a new dress...
But I realized how much my weight has changed what I can wear..
I am up 2 sizes from a few years ago..
Saturday starts some serious dieting & exercise...

Good Morning Ladies:)

Yesterday was kind of busy for me,That I couldn't get out to walk along the beach,First I had my cable man in to fix my cable after another cable man was suppose to fix Unit C and undid mine. Than in the afternoon I had a handy man come to show me how to use the gas grill and to install my a/c's before it gets hot up here.

Now the weather looks threatening,so I got to make this short to take advantage of my beach walking.

VICKIE-I think we;re going to get your weather soon. Sorry about your migraines,I used to get them and I know what you going though.
Had such a good time with the trip & going to go with the seniors again when they go to another musical.

SLOAN=Prayers are still going strong for you and your family.

NANCY-Prayers are going out for you also. I had some kind of lump under my right arm and the doctor told me it was nothing to worry about. He lanced it and I had to take antibiotic for a few days. Hope its the same for you. Happy that you found a beautiful dress for the graduation.

Have to go,and try to get my beach walking done before the rains set in.

Hi Al:

Nancy, surely a few days won't matter but get it checked, obviously. I have a lump on my upper right arm that the MD says is just a calcium deposit. But, it's not sore. Maybe look at the Mayo Clinic website symptom checker.

And, we're here for you on Monday when you start the next step in your journey to lose the pounds. It feels so good to come down a few sizes, and you'll get there.

Maryann, the group was Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I've always thought that our age group will be the coolest one yet in the nursing homes. We had such good music!

Good Morning Ladies:)

We had a wild thunderstorm around here,it started around 8:46 until 9:30.There was a time I hid down in the basement, and then when up stairs when it was in the distance.

Was suppose to go down to the beach to get my beach sticker, but I don't think I'll go today with all the storms they predicting for the whole day.Maybe I talk my friend into going to the Shrek movie starting at 1:30.

VICKIE-Can't believe how much I have to get rid of especially in the basement. Not allowed to have a yard sale in my complex so I have to hire a man with a panel truck and bring the the items to the junk yard. The other small items I'm going to bring to our church's flea market.

SANDRA-My DD e-mailed that to me,it was taken when I was down at her house for Easter. She put the characters in there.

RHONDA-I do agree with you about our music, it was the best, didn't like the big bands of the 30 & 40 and hate the music the play in the 90 & 2000. But I have lots of CD's and records of the 50tys and when I close my eye I find my way back there in time.

SLOANE-I'm still praying for your dad,and hope that you will see a miracle from the Lord. Please to care of yourself & your mom at this time.

Mary Ann, I hate the humidity too but it's fairly low here today too so my windows are open. Over 50% activates the dust mites which I'm allergic too on a pretty high scale. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the ame for us. Saves on the electric bill.

Nee Naw, how EXCITING for you and your partner. Are you planning a big event? Planning my wedding was the most fun I have ever had. If I had to have a second career, I think I'd enjoy party planning. Are you nervous?

I'm making homemade applesauce today and we put chemicals in the pool. This afternoon is the solar cover and we pray for it to warm up the water. I'm way too cheap for a heater. Plus, Jim and I don't know how to service that kind of stuff and it would just end up costing us more money.

Hope you are all enjoying your day.

Hey chicks, we are in a room with my dad. The doctors turned off his meds and removed the breathing machine. He is being kept comfortable, and we are just waiting. It is amazing how someone who is so sick can hang on so long. We have decided that since my dad never did anything the easy way, he would definitely not leave this world without a fight. It is so hard to sit here and wait for him to stop breathing. My siblings, Mom, and I are all here sharing funny stories. At first it seemed kinda cruel then we realized that we were making the noises that he had been accustomed to when we were all together.

Good Morning Chicks! I weigh in at JC today and it will be just ok. I think I'm down .4 but I gained last week so I'll still be behind. I'm SO quick to change my ticker down but reluctant to move it up when I gain. I tell myself it's my mentality to get it back off. I need to stay out of restaurants. We have our once a week date night out but on a whim we had lunch out the other day. It's been forever and I tried to be good. I need to live my life but wish eating didn't make me so happy.

Angela, I'm so happy for you! Congratulations :cheer: on your great week. You have a newborn and a family and you are back on WW and losing. How awesome are you? Many women would use that as an excuse. I'm proud of you.

Love the rest of you chicks too. I hope you are all doing well and taking care of yourselves. I need to increase my water for my kidneys' sake. I think I may have to go back to my silly rules to get it all down. Like no coffee in the morning until I drink 16 ounces. That's quite the motivator. Then the same thing with lunch, dinner, and dessert. That gets the 8 glasses in! I'm good at following rules. Too bad I ignore the one about losing 100 more pounds.

Sigh.

Sloan, prayers continue to be with you and your family.
