Okay this is my first challange and just wanted to set a reasonable goal for a very good cause :)

Obv..........7lbs you will notice the difference and 1st july is the peak of summer and everyone wants to look and feel good for summer.:carrot:

So here goes official week start is w/c 31st may.Cut off day 1st july
So get involved ..............and get ya name down. 4 fun filled weeks of positive menatal attitude with nothing like a bit of competition to boost motivation.

With weekly weigh-ins and the winner will WIN Slimmer Of The Month In This Category ( chicks up for a challange)

The aim is not first to 7lbs but to aim for 7lbs .......whoever loses 7lbs or over will be the winner ;)

Okay girs (& if any boys ) whos up for ditching 1/2 a stone of that fatty flab and being one step closer to that beach body :carrot:

Hello fellow UK lass - my Mum's family are from Newcastle - just thought I would wish you the best of luck.

Not sure whether I should join, I'm only 4-6 lbs away from maintaining at most, but I shall pop by and see how you are all doing.

If by mid-June I haven't shifted any weight I will join you.

What are your plans? Calorie counting or other diet? Or is it exercise?

I want to do it! How does this work? I was 173 on May 31st. So that means my goal is 166 lbs.

Yey never thought this would take off , but looks like weve gota nice bunch , good luck guys and remember any loss is a loss. Keep us updated on ya progress as we dont wana get boared or forget about or lil summer goal.

Well im Lucky form the Uk.....im 25 years young ;P want to lose this 7lb as would be a great boost for my weightloss and anything off would make me feel so much better in the summer heat (which is a nightmare when your over weight)
I live with my Bf and dog whom i adore both with all my heart :)

I'm really excited about this challenge as well!

I'm Barbara from Charleston, SC (USA). I am 27 years old, married to the sweetest man alive, and we have 2 adorable kitties.

I am also participating in a weight loss challenge at work and there are 4 weeks left in that challenge. SO this is coming around at a perfect time!

Ok.. I didn't get back in here. My starting weight on May 27 was 243, according to my Wii fit. Today it was 238.1 nearly 5 pounds. The official weigh in will be Friday, but at this rate I know I will hit 236 by July 1!

Ok weigh in day for me and no loss :(

However im having a bad time with my manual scales, every time i move they go mad , i lean forward to look and it goes up a good few pound it just wont keep still so im keeping it as ive stayed the same and hopefully i will have a greater loss next week

ive lost 6lbsince 1st may so going good, just need to up my game and get with the challange.

Aim for this week is to dig out some fitness DVDs and workout yey :)

I did a workout dvd today and thought of you, Lucky8!

What dvds do you use? I have Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred and LOVE it!

I started calorie counting yesterday and am trying to stay around 1200 calories per day. Hopefully, I'll have a loss when I weigh in tomorrow morning!

Im doing Billy Banks tae bo............they really make ya sweat.

im not calorie counting just being aware, having 3 sensilble meals a day & lots of water and ive also ditched the booze. Not that i drank much but its all hidden calories that i just done need

Hey looks like things are going well , i jumped on my scales to day (about 100 times before settling with a reading haha) my scales are so tempremental need some new ones.

But finaly , after getting the same reading several times ive lost 2lbs so thats 3 altogether. Just hoping its stays off till monday as thats my main weigh day. Mizb1978 keep going hun , any loss is a loss and this challange is merely a tool for support and motivation.
The winner on the 1st will be slimmer or the month and can also set up anew challange for us.
I have enjoyed the support and daily posts on this thread , been good for motivation for me .
Day 3 ov the DVD workouts thats good for me !!!!!!!!!!

I have definitely had weeks where the scale creeped up a little bit throughout the week, but I eneded up with a loss in the end.

The scale can definitely play tricks on you during the week, but then pull through on weigh in day!

I ate like a crazy person this weekend, so I'm hoping the scale will have mercy on me Wednesday for my weigh in! :crossed:

Well done everyone

My normal weigh day is a Mon however i always weigh in in a Thurs jus to see if ive maintained /lost/gained so it can be corrected.

To day i weighed in 3lbs heavier :( really dont understand , duno if its coz i have a little water retention. Ive been working out and eating well , just dontknow..........really hoping i can correct it for monday xx

I always hate that. I weigh in everyday and usually, but my official day is Friday. Usually tuesday or wednesday I am 2 - 3 lbs heavier! Very odd!

I'm sure you will lose the weight.

Really? hope thats the case for me ...........think im retaining a bit of water ........im hoping so anyway. Since my weigh day on mon totaling my week WL as 4lb i was delighted and couldnt wait to get in to this weeks exercise and get another result on the next mon.

It has knocked me a bit having a 3lb gain............but its still not my main day....think its knocked me more so as im actually doing more exercise than ive done in ages n im really trying :(

Awww lucky don't sweat it, since you've been on track it must be water-weight, next weigh-in you'll probably have dropped it all and then some :-)

Well ive just been weighed 2day and im back to norm...............amazing how you can hold 3lb in water :?:

its really not good for confidance for the sacles.

Hopefully it will stay away till monday weigh in .............i may have to weigh in sunday as my partner has to take a pic of the reading when im absolutly still.

I kno sounds strange but if i look down my sacles start moving and cant get a reading. And he is working monday so gona be a day short this week , hopefully i can maintain or even lose a 1lb:)
