i was given a bit of advice to day off a stranger and a male...and it was to bin the scales.
I admit that once i start on them , they do make you think about weight alot more.
maybe binning them and using inchloss and just the way i feel as an indicator maybe better for me.
Anyone else ditched the scales for a different method???
See, I started the other way round. When I started losing weight, I went by clothing size and the way I looked, but I soon realised that using the scales (especially lbs rather than in stone) was way more accurate. But then I guess everyone's different.
For me, using the scales makes every pound lost feel like an accomplishment, it keeps up motivation.

I wish I could ditch the scale, but at this point it's the only place the results are tangible. Maybe when I lose enough that I can see it in my clothes every 10 pounds or so, but for now...
On another note, your profile photo looks a LOT like Lindsay Lohan!
Ha thanks paradise falls.........i have been told i look like her before i a bar by a random bloke a few year back. It must me the angle of the foto, i cant see it myself , haha cus i can assure u i dont deff dont have her skinny lil frame hahaha
i used to get jessie wallace and charlotte church alot x
I'll never ditch the scales! (lol) I like to weigh myself everyday and see the changes in my weight on a daily basis so that I can tweak my program day-by-day.
