100 lb. Club - 4th of July weight loss challenge?

I know last year when I was here this board kept the motivation high by posting a bunch of different challenges.

Well, I didn't see a 4th of July challenge. As of this comming Sunday there are only 7 more weeks till the 4th of July (this year seems to be zooming by) and I was wondering if anyone wants to take part in a 4th of July challenge with me? If so, please remember to keep your goals healthy!

Count me in! I weigh in every day, so I'll just have to remember to post my Sunday weight in this thread. My goal would just be "under 200". I actually had hoped to hit that by my birthday (the 28th of June) but if the next 10 pounds come off as slow as the last 10, that won't happen.

As long as I weigh less then than I do now, its a success :)

Yay! I'm going home to Florida to visit family mid-July and I am wanting to lose as much as possible (though still healthy) by then.

That's 2 per week plus the extra .6 thrown in. I get out of work for the summer after June 8 and will be concentrating mostly on weight loss for a little while, so it is totally doable for me.

I'm in! School is out Thursday and I have a goal of working out at the Y in the morning and a second fun calorie burn. This challenge will jump start it, I hope!

This morning's weight: 238.4 (still working on getting back to 236 where I was before graduation week through me of)
Goal weight July 4th: 220 (I know.... that is 18 pounds in 7 weeks, but it is worth a shot!)

WOW! I had a huge wooosh on the scale this morning. :D

I must have been retaining a lot of water. I had a horrible case of the stomach flu last week and didn't eat much and what I was able to eat was crap. Sunday was my first day back on plan and I went from 244 down to 238.5 this morning. :carrot:

I lost 1.6 pounds this week which brings me up to 3.6 pounds. I am happy with that though cause I was on no exercise last week due to medical stuff and this week I finally get to start again! If I can join, I'd like to set a goal for the 4th of july. I already have a June goal, and havent been losing for 2 months or losing and gaining.... so my preferred goal won't be reached (onederland) ....but.... I'd like to shoot high and go for 210. That would be a loss 18 lbs!! whew!

I would like to give this challenge a shot since I didn't successfully get out of the 200's from 215 at the start of may :-( I didn't gain any weight so I'm happy for that. Nows another challenge to get into my 100's. Good luck to all of us!

I have been in denial over here I think, I am down 6.9 pounds towards my goal, but still have 12.2 pounds to go. Might have set my goal a little high.. but I did give myself a few extra days - since I am leaving on my 2 week beach vacation on July 9th, so it gives me 4 weeks to get those 12 pounds off!

Looks like everyone is getting there! Congrats ladies, home stretch now.. don't know about the rest of you but I'm going to kick it into high gear to get there! We can do this!!

Well! I didn't hit my goal of 19.1 pounds, but thinking back? Am I kidding? :lol: Next time! A reasonable goal! I am quite thrilled with my loss though :D I still have a few days before my vacation - and my actual goal date, however I won't be getting on a scale before then. Definitely into a new challenge - when I'm back from 2 weeks on the beach!
