I was late getting into chat but no one was there. Sherrie and and the kids stayed for supper and they just left. That Jacob sure is getting to be a little butterball. He now weighs 8-10, big change from 6-2 when he came home from the hospital. And BTW...he is SO cute. I gave him a bath in the kitchen sink tonight and he loved it.

Sherry....Now that we have the OK from our hubbies about our little trip we need to start planning. Don't tell them that we are going to have a "blast". LOL
Today was day three on " A healthier Me" plan. And I stayed on plan 100%. Funny thing is ...I already feel better. Going to try not to go so much by pounds this time, I hate weighing in! I just want to feel better and for my clothes not to be so tight!!
It's late and I still need to get ready for tomorrow.

Dee~how did the counseling session go? I hope you were able to resolve some issues.
I had the test done yesterday. The technician was completely mum. She wouldn't tell me anything. She kept returning to one place on the screen that showed up bright red and would then take a still picture of it. She also video taped the entire procedure. It has to be sent off to the cardiologist and then I will be notified by mail as to the results. Hurry up and wait!
Dee, you asked about my blood pressure. It is extremely low. It usually avereages around 78 over 56. I stay cold all the time, just like Gayle!

Ramona I find when my blood pressure drops that is when there is more of a chance of me felling like blacking out or blacking out. Try not to bend over with your head down. Hope all the results come back ok. I know that this is a worry I have been there. Take it easy until you find out what is going on.
Well the session last night went ok. We didn't resolve much.Jason feels like we have abandoned him. I feel really sorry for him because he is under a lot of stress from him course at collage. He can only cope with one stressful thing at a time. I told him that we would all be happier if he had an apartment. I said that I could help him with setting it up. He just wants to come home. He is willing to try again but he said his effert will be going to school first and he didn't know if he would put much into trying. So what a mixed message that is. As for Dez the councilor wants us to try to pretend that she is a guest here and for her to pretend that we are her hosts. We are to play this game as long as possible. Our next appointment is next tuesday. We are not sure if Jay will go.
Well I hope you all have a good day. My sister from the country Gail is coming in and we are going out for lunch. I am sure she will fill me in more on her and Ed. I think that Ed is back on the road again.
Any of you girls survivor fans? Starts tonight 8:00 eastern time. I will have to tape the show. Dez is receiving an award for A Honour roll at school for last years performance. We are fortunate that both are children are gifted.
Today was crazy at school and I really don't know why. I didn''t even get to finish my lunch for the phone ringing. By the time I got home I was starving. First rule for any good plan...Keep some legal snacks in the house. My hubby quit drinking beer about 3 months ago and since has starting all kinds of snacks. He can eat anything and not gain an ounce. {makes me sick..LOL}Here all these snacks are staring at me...Doritoes...Cheese Ritz....Pecan Sandies...and that's just on the counter in the kitchen. I was afraid to look in the freezer.
Well, I kept digging and find something "legal" to eat. Man...that was close!!! Going to the store tomorrow and buy me lots of good stuff.

Ben just called from K-9 school and he had me laughing so hard I was in tears. They got their "dogs". They were big ammo cans with leashes tied on. They had to pet them and baby talk them just as if it were a real dog. I would love to see that! A bunch of big tough soldiers petting ammo cans!!!! LOL They get their real dogs tomorrow. Ben's is a 90 pound Belgeium Shepherd.

I did not stay OP today. In fact I have had a rough week!!!!! My clothes are tight, and I have a trip next week and 3 days of a Regional convention the next. I think first thing in the A.M. I am making a big pot of low point veggi soup. Maybe if I just eat that for a few days, it will get me back on track.
Sure has been quiet here today.
Debbie I am so proud of you. Way to go keeping your hands of the naughty treats. You have it right though that you have to go out and get some safe treats.
Gayle survivor was really good last night. I am not into watching much on tv except the news and movies. So this is a treat when there is a show I can look forward to weekly. Did you make your soup today? I made a big pot of chicken noodle. My points have been at the high end so I think that today I need to go lower.

I didn't have time yesterday afterday to post and say TGIF to everyone. I came right in from work and got ready to go to a shower/party for my son and his wife. They are expecting a baby around the first of November.{A girl} It was the first time I have ever been to a party like that where the man is included in everything. Diaper games, eating baby food and opening the gifts, it was so neat. My son even seemed happy and it was good to see him laugh. They had lots of good food too, but I was a good girl...even surprised myself. Today is day 6 of being 100% OP and I'm feeling great!!!
Sherry....Can't wait to see you tomorrow. Working the games is hard work but we do get to catch up with each other and have a long talk. I plan on buying our airline tickets today....I am so Excited about our trip!!
Gayle....{Dorito} You are so funny. I am not a big chip fan but they sure were looking good the other day. I'm not really sure how good I could have resisited Ice cream though...like Moose Tracks and Bear tracks...and all that Track stuff..LOL
Dee....That soup sounds good to me too. Does anyone know a good low-carb soup recipe? I could eat soup everyday in cold weather.
