Sooo happy it's may already!! This may be my last month! I'm on moderate bedrest/sitting now instead of strict which is awesome!! How is everyone else doing?

getting so close jahjah!

As if time wasn't moving slow enough, I recalculated my due date based on ovulation and it put me back a week I kinda expected that with how late I ovulate. Bummer!

The weirdest thing right now is how awful things taste. Things I usually LOVE taste blech. Like mac n cheese and some cookies I had to make for bunco tonight. These are my own recipes so I know they are yummy, yet I taste them and it's just yuck.

Ice cream, on the other hand is YUMMY! hahaha! how cliche. and I finally discovered a chocolate sauce topping recipe...so no high fructose corn syrup.

Funny how time flies when its not your life you're looking at. For some reason I'm shocked how time flew for you Jahjah1223. LOL

ditto on the food though. I make hot sauce from scratch and I know how good it is but for some reason with this pregnancy and the last one I can't taste it or at least I can't taste the hotness. It just doesn't do it for me, I've thrown out batches thinking they were bad or not good enough and had my dh wondering why because he didn't see anything wrong with them. So now I' have to face the fact that my taste buds suck. LOL
But yet Ice cream and chocolate still taste wonderful.
My tummy is definitely growing, I feel like a beached whale when I have to roll over in bed. LOL

Time is passing quickly here, my other kids are keeping me pretty busy! I'm getting the final clean up of the house done, the birth tub ready to set up in the family room and my next midwife visit is my home visit. Counting down until 37 weeks (and taking it easy when I get too many contractions, I have an irritable uterus), when I'm in my homebirth window. It's coming up so soon!

Oh, and I can't wait until the baby (boy? girl? don't know!) and nursing is established so I can start Weight Watchers again. My butt needs its own ZIP code!

Since all my kiddos have had issues with nursing I'm gonna start calling lactation consultants in the next couple of weeks. I would really like a specialist to meet us at the birth center to assist if need be. I've already started saving up money for it so I'll be prepared.

I can't believe it's May already!

Hurray to jahjah1223 and kestral! You guys are in the home stretch!

I had some of the "off" taste bud issues early on, but it went away. Now everything tastes good! I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. I have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow and I'm hoping I'm not packing the pounds on too fast. I'm trying not to worry about it though. I still haven't found any studies that prove why 25-30 lbs is ideal.

I just got a pre-natal Yoga and Belly Dance video in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to try it out! I know I need to exercise more, but I need to do something fun to have the motivation.

Not too much to report here. My hips and knees have started hurting when I sleep. Poor DH, I roll over about 15 times per night. It helps to keep all the pressure off one side. And of course, I get up to pee at least once. Oh well.

Kiddo #1 (17 months old) is totally unaware that anything is happening in mommy's tummy. We've had to learn to be careful how he climbs on me, I think he's a little baffled by that but otherwise pretty clueless about all of it.

From what I've read, the left side is best. Do you have a body pillow? I have one and it helps me to sleep more comfortably.

with 2 weeks to spare we finally have a name Virginia Robin (Ginni for a nick name.) I'm so exicited about that that I just had to share the news. Also we got the last few things that we needed to day like the carseat and that type of stuff. so now it is a waiting game.

My mind didn't register that I was still replying on the April thread! Darn mommy brain.

I am STILL waiting. I am getting really impatient now. Today makes me 40w2d preggo. I have a dr appt this afternoon so we'll see. My SIL's baby is going to be at least a whole week older than mine now. I feel extremely left out. I was really hoping it would happen over the weekend!
